A Preview of Peace in Israel
Will the Negev Summit set the stage for the end-times peace agreement?
Two significant Old Testament passages indicate there will be some kind of peace settlement for Israel, in the future. Both of these passages refer to the same peace treaty, which will be signed at the start of the seven-year time of Tribulation.
The first passage is in Daniel 9:
“And he [Antichrist] will make a firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years], but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate.”—Daniel 9:27, NASB
