So often, this world seems to be spiraling into chaos and darkness. How do we continue to overcome the world until Jesus returns for His Bride?
We keep our focus on God. We trust God with everything. We stay in fellowship with other believers—including the Tipping Point community. And we live to make a difference in the world. Remember: When Jesus gave the great commission, telling his disciples to go and make disciples, He reminded him that He would be with us “even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20, NKJV).
In other words, he explicitly connected evangelism to the last days. We aren’t here just to survive and wait for Jesus. We are here to reach people for Jesus as we await His return. The only thing we can’t do better in heaven is to lead people to Christ.
I’d love for you to share Tipping Point with someone who needs to see the truth of the Rapture, the return of Christ, and the accuracy of Bible prophecy. If you haven’t subscribed to our full paid newsletter, this may be the moment to do so.
Here are seven things to be thinking about this weekend.
1. Wisdom from Scripture
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.—Romans 12:9 (NKJV)
2. Quote to Consider
“I have some important news for you: Paul says there will be a generation of people who will never die. If you’re alive when the Rapture happens, you will be immediately changed. The dead in Christ will rise first, but then we who are alive and remain will be ‘caught up.’ … So we will be seized, caught up, and carried off by Jesus, and it will happen ‘in the twinkling of an eye.’ If people blink, then they actually could miss it, but believers won’t miss it.”

3. Pay Attention to This News
While Vladimir Putin has escalated Russia’s military attacks on Ukraine this week, President Trump has escalated his personal attacks on Putin, calling him “crazy” and saying that Putin is “playing with fire.” Trump’s Republican colleagues are now starting to call for tougher sanctions against Moscow. In fact, Senate Republicans led by Lindsey Graham have come together with Senate Democrats to draft legislation that would impose enormous sanctions. That would force a shift from the more hands-off stance Trump has taken so far. He’s been trying to negotiate a peace deal, but that position may soon shift. At the same time, one high-ranking official at the Kremlin responded to the hints of sanctions by threatening World War III. If the U.S. imposes new sanctions against Russia, how will Putin respond?
4. Comment of the Week
“This helps me tremendously! I will have the desires of my heart fulfilled because of my awesome, powerful, and loving God! I have prayed that my desires would align with HIS will, and I desire that HIS will would be done in my life and on this earth!”
—Tipping Point subscriber Matthew in the comments after my “How Do We Pray?” teaching video
5. Praying for Israel
“And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.”—Zechariah 2:5 (NKJV)
Israel’s enemies are growing more numerous and more hostile in these last days, so we pray for God’s supernatural protection: Almighty God, we thank You for Your unwavering commitment to protect Israel. We declare Your Word over this nation, that You are her wall of fire, her defender, and her shield. Strengthen and empower Israel’s defense forces as they guard the land. Station Your mighty angels along her borders. Expose and thwart every plan of the enemy before it can take root. Give Israeli intelligence services supernatural insight to prevent or stop attacks. Be the glory in her midst, Lord, manifesting Your presence in tangible ways. Let the nations see Your hand of protection over Israel. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
6. Link of the Week
A new book, Why Religion Went Obsolete by Christian Smith, identifies the decline of religious belief and practice among younger generations of Americans, and admits a frustrating reality connected to the reasons they are rejecting it. For instance, one respondent to a survey dismisses the Bible because it “makes my eyes roll” but admits he’s never read it. Others say they don’t enjoy church because “the vibes” are off. These young people are rejecting religion—but for vague and uneducated reasons. The author speculates that churches have contributed to this kind of response by focusing less on a holy, transcendent God and more on the political or therapeutic benefits of faith. Whether you agree or not, I think every pastor and believer should be aware of the findings and arguments at the center of Why Religion Went Obsolete.
