Today, I explore Daniel chapter 7, which Jewish scholars considered the greatest chapter in Scripture and provides the most comprehensive prophecy in the Old Testament. This foundational chapter pulls us across all of history from Daniel’s time to the Final Judgment and Jesus’ Kingdom. I explain the four successive beasts representing Babylon (lion), Persia (bear), Greece (leopard), and Rome (terrifying beast with iron teeth), showing how they parallel Daniel 2’s statue. The key focus is the fourth beast’s ten horns—ten leaders of a reunited Roman Empire—and the little horn (Antichrist) who rises among them, ruling for three and a half years while persecuting believers and blaspheming God. The vision culminates with the Ancient of Days on His throne judging the Antichrist, followed by the Son of Man receiving an everlasting Kingdom. This chapter demonstrates that the God who mapped out the future can handle our present circumstances, providing comfort in uncertain times.
