A couple of weeks ago, the annual World Economic Forum meeting took place in Davos, Switzerland. This international gathering of global elites focused, as usual, on ways to shape and transform the world economy.

The main topic this year was the need to address climate change, and a third of its breakout sessions were about the looming crisis—which many believe to be the next crisis, after COVID, that the world’s leaders will leverage to gain more power.
