Edging Closer to the Ezekiel 38 War
“The land is Lebanese, the control is Iranian, and the target is Israel.”
Before I get into the article today, I just wanted to say it was great to be with you all at the Tipping Point Prophecy Conference this past weekend. Iran is the modern counterpart to ancient Persia, which the Hebrew prophet Ezekiel listed in Ezekiel 38:5 as a key confederate in the end-time invasion of Israel. According to Scripture, Iran will join forces with Russia—which is ancient Rosh and Magog in Ezekiel 38:2—and a group of other Islamic nations in a futile attempt to wipe Israel off the map.
As rogue nations, Iran and Russia are already the object of major sanctions from the West, and as a result they have closed ranks substantially since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The two nations are closer than ever, which points toward the fulfillment of the Gog-Magog War in the not-too-distant future.
Russia and Iran have deepened their connections on many fronts, but none is more evident than their burgeoning military ties.
Arms Dealers
It’s well-known that Iran has been a major supplier of arms to Russia during its long, grinding war with Ukraine. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Iran has provided Russia hundreds of Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones that have rained terror on Ukraine. Iran has tried to supply Russia with both short and long-range missiles and unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), but fortunately these transfers were interdicted by Israel and its allies.
But be sure, Iran won’t give up in its attempt to transport weapons to Russia. As long as the war with Ukraine drags on, Iran will lend its support to Russia with a steady stream of arms.
