Exploring the Shemitah Cycle

We are in the final months of the Sabbath year—a time of blessing and release.

You may remember, at the beginning of 2022, I made a list of seven things the Bible said would happen this year. These were not “prophetic words” or gifts, but simply an acknowledgment of what was in the Bible.

One of those truths was that most of 2022 represented the Sabbath year of the Shemitah cycle, according to the Hebrew calendar. Now that we are nearing the final quarter of this Sabbath year, I wanted to take the opportunity to explain more about it.
