Exposing the Enemy, Part 2

In this second message of my “Exposing the Enemy” series, I take a close look at Satan as our adversary and why he attacks believers so relentlessly. You’ll discover why Satan becomes our enemy the moment we step into the light of God’s truth—he wasn’t opposing us when we were walking in darkness because he was our master, not our adversary.

I’ll answer three critical questions: Why is Satan our enemy? Why can he devour some people but not others? And how do we protect ourselves and our families from his attacks? The answers to these questions center on one powerful truth—the Word of God is our only real protection and our weapon.

Using Jesus’ own example of defeating Satan with three Scriptures, I’ll show you how the Word of God is “living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.” This isn’t about legalism—it’s about building your life on the foundation that can withstand every storm. When you understand that some people are saved but not safe, you’ll realize why total commitment to God’s Word is the key to living in complete freedom from Satan’s attacks.

In today’s Q&A, I tackle two important questions that many believers struggle with. First, I explain what James means when he says, “faith without works is dead.” Second, I answer a deep question about the power of the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead living in us, walking through Romans 7 and 8 to show how the Holy Spirit is God’s answer to our inability to live the Christian life in our own strength.
