Further Alignment of the Ezekiel 38 Nations
The collapse of Syria and the rising regional role of Turkey are beginning to show signs of how the coalition of nations in the Gog-Magog war will finalize. Israel has begun conducting air attacks on the coast of Syria and ground raids in southern Syria in order to improve security in the destabilizing region. But these security buffers are causing tension with Syria’s new government—and Turkey is deeply involved.
When Assad’s regime was toppled, Turkey stepped in almost immediately, partially to bring stability and partially to serve its own interests. Turkish officials developed a relationship with Ahmed al-Sharaa, the transitional president in Syria and are working to shape the future of the country. As a result, Turkey has gained enormous power in Damascus.
Which means Israel’s military activity isn’t just upsetting Syria. It’s upsetting Turkey.
