Four End-Times Signs Involving Israel

The miraculous nation of Israel will play a central role in the last days

In my book, Tipping Point, I tell the story about how I first learned of the significance of the Jewish people. I was a new Christian at the time and also newly married. My wife, Karen, and I had gone to a Christian bookstore.

A poster on one of the bookstore walls captured my attention. It had just one word, Israel, along with a picture of a menorah. I couldn’t take my eyes off that poster, for some reason. Looking back, I now interpret that attention as a supernatural moment. God was using that poster to convince me of the importance of Israel.

After staring at the poster for a few minutes, I went to the front counter of the bookstore and asked the owner, “What does that poster mean?” He was very kind and patient, and spent the next few minutes telling me what the Bible said about the nation of Israel and God’s special relationship with the Jewish people.

He also told me that Jesus is Jewish. That’s when something shifted in my heart. I was pretty ignorant at the time, but God used that moment to cause me to fall deeply in love with Israel and the Jewish people. That’s one reason I share so much about Israel in these articles and videos. But the other reason is because Israel’s existence in the world today is a miracle—and that makes it a “super sign” of the end times.
