Dr. Shariat grew up as a devout Muslim in Iran—he was one of those young students on the streets of Tehran in 1979 shouting “Death to America, death to the Shah.” But then he came to America, read the Bible, and gave his life to Jesus Christ. Now he leads Iran Alive Ministries, and what he’s seeing right now is remarkable. Over 40,000 Iranians have been killed in the recent uprising, over 100,000 arrested, and the regime has said they’ll kill a million if that’s what it takes to stay in power. But the people of Iran are done with Islam. They’ve seen it firsthand for 47 years, and they’re rejecting it and turning to Jesus in record numbers. Iran has the fastest growing evangelical population in the world. We’re going to talk about Jeremiah 49 and what the Bible says is coming for Iran, the danger of Sharia law in America, and how you can pray for and support the Iranian people in this critical hour.”
