Is King Charles III the Antichrist?

With the death of Queen Elizabeth II last September, her son, Prince Charles of Wales, automatically ascended to the throne of the United Kingdom. He is now known as King Charles III. His official coronation is in London this Saturday in Westminster Abbey.

It probably won’t surprise you to hear that I got messages and emails within hours of the Queen’s death wondering if King Charles could be the Antichrist. Those have continued over the last few months, and they’re becoming more frequent now that the coronation is getting closer.

The monarchy in the UK doesn’t exactly have governing power, but Charles is coming into a great deal of authority. As King, he has become head of the British Armed Forces, the head of the judiciary and the civil service, and is now the “Supreme Governor” of the Church of England.
