Young Americans Say Violence is Justified
A concerning Emerson College poll last week revealed that 41 percent of American voters aged 18 to 29 find the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson to be “acceptable.”
To be clear, another 40 percent found the killing unacceptable, but the large number of young people justifying murder highlights a significant generational divide in perceptions of the incident. Or, in other words, highlights the depravity of sinful people.
The alleged shooter faces a murder charge in New York, along with other criminal charges in Pennsylvania.
