“Mind-Blowing” ChatGPT Gets Major Attention

Last week, the research lab OpenAI released a new artificial intelligence tool called ChatGPT, and almost immediately users began raving about the answers it gave to common (and uncommon) questions. All over Twitter and other social media outlets, users began sharing the replies given by the chatbot system.

It’s a big deal. The tool seems pretty knowledgeable if not omniscient—it can be creative and its answers can sound downright authoritative. A few days after its launch, more than a million people are trying out ChatGPT.
