I am heartbroken by the assassination of Charlie Kirk yesterday, as my wife Karen and I have been devastated ever since we heard about this tragic loss of such a wonderful young man who was a tremendous influence on youth around the world. This was both a political assassination and a martyrdom of a very open Christian who stood courageously for his faith in Christ, and it represents a serious blow to free speech in our nation. My prayer is that Charlie's death will inspire many more young people to rise up and become outspoken about their faith in Christ, leading to a radical revival that makes this generation greater than any in American history.
