Fires tear through Los Angeles neighborhoods with gusts of 100mph

Just this morning, in my Tipping Point Show, I was talking about praying for loved ones and for the opportunity to share Christ with them. “You don’t know how precious something is until it’s gone,” I said. This morning, residents of Pasadena, Altadena, the Pacific Palisades and other parts of northern Los Angeles are waking up to devastation.

Many of their precious homes and businesses are gone. A fast-moving fire broke out yesterday morning in Pacific Palisades and grew to nearly 3,000 acres last night. Thousands were forced to evacuate. Flames jumped over the famous Pacific Coast Highway. Some residents had to abandon their cars on the side of the road so they could escape the fire, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Then overnight, the fires exploded.
