A couple of breaking news stories from last night have my attention this morning, and both have potential prophetic implications. As with news alerts in the past, I thought it was worth a quick article to make sure you are aware of what’s happening.

Iranian President Dies in Helicopter Crash

In an event that will reshape the Middle East and potentially Iran’s relationship with Israel and the outside world, Ebrahim Raisi, the protégé of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has died. Raisi died yesterday, along with his foreign minister, in a helicopter crash near the border with Azerbaijan.

The weather was foggy and the vehicle was flying in a mountainous region. A Turkish drone indicated the crash site was on the side of the mountain, so the crash seems to be an accident.

But the international implications could be significant all the same.
