God has set eternity in our hearts. It’s like the little boy flying a kite on a cloudy day—he couldn’t see it, but when someone asked how he knew it was still there, he said, “I can feel its tug.” You and I know there’s a Heaven because we can feel its tug. Some think Heaven is escapism, but we don’t escape life by dreaming of Heaven—we endure life because of the certainty of Heaven. In this episode, we explore the source of the city (God Himself), the splendor of it (the glory of God), and the sights: the wall for security, the gates for access, the foundation stones for permanence, the street for travel, the river for refreshment, the Throne for sovereignty, and the Tree of Life for enjoyment.
