Revelation 4 and the Purpose of Life
Are you living for God’s glory or are you living for your own?
Within its vast treasure house of life-transforming truths, the Book of Revelation highlights what is probably the greatest question we humans could ever ask:
Why am I here?
It makes sense that this final, climactic book of the Bible would put an exclamation point on a reality that echoes through all of the previous 65 books of Scripture. Revelation, after all, means “unveiling.” And if ever our unhappy, unraveling world needed an answer to be unveiled, it would be this one: Why was I created? Why am I alive? What is my purpose?

I heard a story about an older man speaking to a young legal student about his future plans. “Tell me, son,” he said, “what are your plans after you graduate from law school?”
