The Rosh Hashanah-Rapture Connection
Rosh Hashanah begins tomorrow evening, through October 4. This two-day feast marks the start of the Jewish New Year. If you’ve been part of this community for any length of time, you know that we pay very close attention to this holiday—which is also known as the Feast of Trumpets—because I believe the Rapture is likely to happen at some point during Rosh Hashanah.
Now, the Rapture can happen at any moment and any day of the year. That’s what Jesus said, and I don’t think it’s a good idea to limit His return to just two days out of any year. But I think there’s a good case to be made for the Rapture to be associated with the Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashanah. I always get excited when this date approaches. I pay close attention, especially given current events in Israel and around the world.
I spoke about this a couple of weeks ago in an episode of the Tipping Point Show, but for those of you who prefer written content, here are a few reasons why I believe Rosh Hashanah has a unique connection to the Rapture.
