The 2020 True Passover

Remembering and Honoring the Blood of Jesus in This Critical Time

I have told you previously about my friend, Chuck Pierce, and what the Lord has been speaking to him since last September about what we are experiencing now. Here is a detailed account of that word Chuck sent me this morning:

I started prophesying last September that this year would be a “True Passover.” Even though we have celebrated many Passovers, the Spirit of God said this would be the year that we would really have to understand Passover. He said plague-like conditions would hit the earth, and February, March and April would be hellish. But He was looking at nations to see which nations “PASSED OVER.” I then began to see that the real issue would be an economic rearrangement throughout the world. I see that if we celebrate and honor His Blood, the death structure that is gripping these nations will shift at Passover. I see that death toll in the nations that celebrate and honor His Blood and acknowledge Him will start decreasing after Passover. But remember, once the Israelites passed over they still had 40 days to press through into their promise. They had great problems during that 40-day period, and postponed their promise for 40 years. I decree that during this 40-day period there will be no postponement. This is exactly what the Spirit of God said to me and what I have been saying since September. Chuck Pierce

Remembering the Details of Passover

I have known Chuck for over twenty years and he is the most accurate prophet I have ever known. This word bears witness with my spirit and also other prophetic people I have spoken to. After hearing Chuck speak about this being a true Passover, I started reflecting upon the first Passover Israel experienced in Egypt and its significance. Since the Lord is speaking to Chuck that this year’s Passover will be a “true Passover”, it is helpful to remember some of the details of what happened.

• The tenth plague that God sent upon the Egyptians was the death of the firstborn. It was the final judgment and the one that finally broke Pharaoh’s stronghold over the Jews. If this years Passover is going to be like the first one, we need to be believing that the power of Jesus’ blood is going to break satanic strongholds over our lives, our families, our churches and our nation in a powerful manner. Jim Laffoon, another prophet friend of mine I’ve told you about, told me that God is using COVID-19 to “plow America” and break through hearts that have been hardened to Him. On the night of the original Passover, there was wailing in every single household of Egypt. The stubborn Egyptians who had abused and dominated the Jews were broken to the core. I have never in my life seen anything like this current pandemic and what it has done to the psyche of our nation. Let’s pray that God will use this to usher in the greatest revival the world has ever seen. This will be a true Passover of breaking through!

• Exodus 12:35-36 says: Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing. 36 And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.

  In Chuck’s word he said: I then began to see that the real issue would be an economic rearrangement throughout the world. The original Passover resulted in a massive redistribution of wealth from the Egyptians to the Jews. It literally took the wealth of the unrighteous who would use it for evil and gave it to the Jews who would use it to build a Tabernacle for the Lord.

  Proverbs 13:22 says: A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. I have a regular “argument” with the Lord as I’m praying and I say something like this to the Lord: “Lord, look at the billions of dollars evil people have to corrupt people’s lives. I pray you will take that wealth and transfer it to the righteous so we can redeem lives and preach the gospel.” I have prayed like that for many years and I’m believing that this true Passover will result in a massive redistribution of wealth from the unrighteous to the righteous for the sake of the gospel. Please pray with me that the Lord will cause His people to prosper in this unprecedented time where hearts are open to the gospel.

• The original Passover was all about the blood of a lamb that saved Israel from the destroyer that killed the firstborn of Egypt. Each family in Israel had to kill their own lamb and put its blood on the lintel and doorposts of their homes. It was this blood and nothing else that saved them from death. As Chuck’s word says, those nations that honor and celebrate the blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God, will see this plague broken. This time is an important reminder of the power of the blood of Jesus in our lives. Jesus’ blood on the Cross broke the power of Satan and negated the curse of sin over the lives of believers. (Galatians 3:10-14) We are saved from death and eternal damnation by the blood of the Lamb. This true Passover is an opportunity to remember what Jesus did for us on the Cross as we celebrate His sacrificial death to save us!

And one more thing before I close this article. I’m on a conference call tomorrow with some church leaders from around the world. We are coordinating a worldwide communion on Good Friday. Isn’t that incredible! It is just another blessing that has come out of this situation. I believe it could actually be the catalyst for breaking the power of COVID-19 as millions of believers around the world celebrate, as one unified Church, the new covenant through the body and blood of Jesus!
