I understand and agree with the importance, however it is not easy for people in certain northern states to find a good church home. One church seemed to stress the importance of, “giving abundantly,” “giving freely,” “giving generously,” but had funds to build huge churches in affluent areas. Also that church never had us touch a Bible.

Another church, (not Catholic), does not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.

Lots of Catholic churches....

So it’s hard to find a church that aligns with our beliefs where we live, plus, we are in a blue state no where near the Bible Belt, and it’s extremely challenging to find like-minded Christians. Many people I know who say they are believers in Christ know very little about the Bible and seem to be okay with that. Many are in denial about end times.

I’m not criticizing, as I was once like them, but they seem happy being of this world, whereas I’m ready to go home.

We found an amazing online church that’s too far to physically travel to.

What an incredibly well written and inspiring piece.

I lost my wife of 53 years only weeks ago and am in a position of learning a new life. In this day and age we have more distractions than have ever existed in civilization, what with the dazzling array of advances in technology that tantalize and occupy our thoughts.

As part of this process, the illness and resulting death of my dear wife pulled me away from my church where we both attended every time the doors opened. My wife taught children and I was on the worship team. We had to relocate back to where my son lives in order to get assistance in her care. This Sunday morning as I hear the thunder booming outside, and contemplate the fact that I am alone and attending a new church where I have no connection to the people there yet as it was in my last church, this piece has awakened me out of lethargy and given me new purpose to “start over” in building new church relationships and resist the thinking that at age 73, and being a widower, I can coast the rest of the way. I am going to get up in a few minutes and go serve the Lord, and others, so that I can look forward in anticipation of being back in fellowship with my new church family.

God bless everyone.

Happy Sunday! Thank you Pastor Mark for this important message on the importance of connection. We are the church. “They were continually and faithfully devoting themselves to the instruction of the apostles, and to fellowship, to eating meals together and to prayers.” Acts‬ ‭2:42‬ Keep loving big + serving big!💛💛

Yes. The weight of the world is so intense now that we need each other in the Church more than ever. Our Church just added an online Pastor to their staff. His job, I think, is to try to connect with the online Church and pull them into the Body at large. Who is the online Church? This past Easter, 400 of them came to our Church and got Saved. It’s all good. Many nonChristians will not go the Church, but they may take a peek from their living room. The important thing, I think, is that people are hearing God’s Word preached, and there is an opportunity for Worship, and we have meaningful connections with like minded Believers, and we serve as the Holy Spirit leads. God creates the venues so He can connect with those that He calls. The Church is His Bride, underground and at Church. We will all be together soon. 🌻

Love the honesty that is coming through today. Church is not easy, to put it mildly, and it can be a set back if we are not careful. I have shared this before with the TP family, but not for awhile. When I was first saved I went to an Independent Baptist Church (I was from a Catholic background). I was following Jesus and I wanted to be Baptized by immersion. They baptized me but then decided I was still in sin, and annulled my Baptism. It was a major blow. I didn’t get it, but Jesus did, and kept me pointed in the right direction. He grew me up His way and gave me ministry opportunities since then that I never could have dreamed of or imagined, in spite of many setbacks to follow, including my father’s suicide attempt, my sister’s suicide, my divorce, and my children who have fallen away from the Lord. He is faithful. He will not let you go. I learned to follow after Him and not people. People can fail you. But He will never fail you. His plan is always the best even when Satan tries to kick us down the road. Today as I watched my Church on line, I cringed at what was being preached from the pulpit, in several instances. But God has me there. I will stay until He says otherwise. And otherwise is ok too. If we look we will find Him… and His people, as many are doing here. Your Hearts belong to Him. Love you all on this first Sunday in May. He loves you and has brought you this far. He will finish what He started. He will make a way. He promised. 🌻

A person who doesn’t stand for something will fall for anything. We live in a time where taking a stand has become unpopular. To claim absolutes with regard to salvation, morality, and God’s Word is no longer fashionable. We live in a world that just wants everyone to go along to get along. But it is in this very time that the Church must be prepared to climb up on top of the Rock with our mind made up and take our stand. The preservation of our community and our country may very well be dependant upon us.

In Ezekiel 22:30 God said, "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."

We live in a day where the foundational truths of God’s Word are being challenged by men and women who once stood for the truth. Where morality is nothing more than a byword, and standards of righteousness have been reduced to each man doing what is right in his or her own sight.

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, we are in a war. It is not against flesh and blood, it is not against the abortion doctor, the politicians, or terrorists. No this is a war "against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." This is spiritual warfare and the only agency on the face of the earth that is equipped to fight this spiritual war is the Church. So where is the Church? Where are the men and women who will step up and stand in the gap for the salvation of our country? Where are the voices crying out in the wilderness? Where are the men and women willing to take up their cross and follow Jesus? Where are the pastors and the people who sincerely seek to know Christ in the power of His resurrection, in the fellowship of His suffering, being made conformable even unto death?

It’s time to take a stand. It’s time to be the Church. It’s time fill the gap. It’s time to put on our armor, get up out of the trenches, and be not afraid to voice the Truth regardless of the consequences one may face in this physical world. Stop being sheep, be a Watchman on the Wall, and share the Truth.

Asking for prayer: I’m dad to two daughters. One is graduating this month attending college out of state. She’s been my serving co-laborer in childrens ministry for several years. My wife left our church several years ago for personal reasons and my younger daughter went with her to a different church until my wife took a weekend job leaving my younger daughter churchless in the last few months. She’s also poisoned my younger daughter toward our original church home so she will not attend with me. I need prayer for the Spirit to lead me as I try to lead my family.

We moved to Alpharetta georgia to be connected with a large church with an exceptional kids program. And it proved to be a good decision. When the PLANdemic started like most everyone else I tried to figure it out. My assessment was for the vast majority of people it was a fraud. I chose not to participate in the nonsense. But during this time we stopped going to church. The plandemic broke our momentum. But more importantly I became angry at how our church leaders, especially mega church leaders handled it. I personally would love to be under the leadership of John Mcarther who I feel is one of the few who did it right. I dont want to feel this way toward the church. I dont want the enemy to win. I understand the importance of the local church and tithing. But I cant seem to get past questioning church leaders. The churches i follow seem to be ignoring the topics I feel are important. And to be honest, I havent had time to look for a new church. Is there a word of wisdom, a book, or other resource to cAN point me to that could out me back on the right path? My heart is not right with the church right now. By my brain tells me something is not right

A significant event is happening right now. If you’re awake and it’s still dark outside, go look at the sky. All of the planets have aligned. The 3 brightest are Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune. Venus is sitting in front of Jupiter, which is making the “star” super bright. If you follow the line about a foot towards the west is Mars. About 2 feet more is Saturn, then Pluto. Once the sun comes up, behind it will be Uranus, the moon, and Mercury.

I agree 100%. The tribulation period is near. My son passed away on November 2021 ( he was 17 ) and his passing has re-directed us back church. We don’t know gods plan but we KNOW he loves us and will fight for us. We have received many signs after his passing. A foundation has been established on his and his teammate ( the life foundation) by his soccer club SC Del Sol soccer club ( AZ ) after their passing. They also are honoring him with a soccer tournament ( thanksgiving classic tournament, AZ) and some of the proceed will help fund the foundation. His death has been a Grace Disguise ( great book too ).

If you haven’t watched : state of kind: the psychology of control ( Documentary ). I strongly recommend it. We are losing members bcz of Politicians and the Elite behind scene.

God bless! The end is near

https://www.timesofisrael.com/small-earthquake-rattles-northern-israel/

Residents of northern Israel felt a small earthquake on Sunday morning, the latest in a string of temblors to hit the area over the past few months. Israel lies along the Syrian-African rift, an active fault line that runs the length of the border separating Israel and Jordan. Major earthquakes in the area happen on average once every 80 years, though the last occurred over a century ago.

Thank you for the reminder. I have been one of those that during the pandemic sheltered at home. It is very easy to get in a routine of not going to church. I went to my church this morning and it's was an awesome experience to be around fellow believers. We need each other even if it's just a handshake from another person.

A friend of mine and I started a neighborhood ladies group last week called Refresh and Recharge. We are hoping to build a spiritual community for ladies who don’t have that. Reading Redeeming Love and will watch the movie together when we finish the book. Please pray God will bring those who don’t have “prayer warrior” besties, those who need spiritual girlfriends/community.
