The Sign of Apostasy

How a commonly neglected end-times sign is flashing brighter than ever

There are plenty of end-times signs converging in our world right now. People have been talking about the return of Jesus for generations, but something really unique is happening today. I think even people who don’t know the Lord are talking like the world is about to reach “closing time.”

I believe it, and one specific sign that stands out to me is the sign of apostasy. People are abandoning the truth of the gospel, denying essential Christian doctrine, and falling away from the faith.

Paul told us this would happen in his letter to Timothy:

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons…—1 Timothy 4:1

He echoes this in 2 Timothy 3. He writes that, in the last days, perilous times will come when “evil men and imposters…grow worse and worse” (2 Timothy 3:13).

In other words, we will be subjected to a landslide of hypocrisy. Does that sound familiar? I share a little more about this reality in today’s video.
