Israel Strikes Back After Hezbollah Attack
In the Golan Heights and the Galilee region on Tuesday, Hezbollah barraged northern Israel with more than 100 rockets. This is after another 80 rockets were fired at northern Israel on Sunday.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded Tuesday with strikes on Hezbollah rocket launch posts in Lebanon. The IDF reportedly struck a military compound and other terrorist infrastructure affiliated with Hezbollah’s forces.
The Jerusalem Post reports on the attacks:
At least one Hezbollah terrorist was killed, and several others were injured after Israel launched several strikes on Baalbek in eastern Lebanon, Reuters reported, citing two security sources and the Baakbek governor, Bashir Khader. The IDF reported that these sites were Hezbollah military command centers used to store weapons.
