Thank-you Jimmy and Tipping Point for passing along this opportunity to give to our dear friends in Israel as well as the Tipping Point end-time Ministry. I have been a subscriber of TP from the very beginning but this will be my first time giving beyond my subscription. There was just something about this time and the Lord said now, time to give. I am so grateful to Jimmy and all his guests for teaching us about Bible Prophecy and keeping us in the know. I can honestly say I have the Blessed Hope every day because of Tipping Point Ministries keeping me up to date and encouraging me every day. Until He comes, Maranatha, and thanks to your whole team!!! πŸ†•

I was honored to donate. Also, I have a question. What is the biblical proof to speak to those who have the belief that we are living in the Millennial age where Satan has been loosed for a while and that if there was a rapture, it occured many many years ago? Someone gave me a scripture regarding a specific generation that passed away proves Jesus has already returned and now sits on his throne from Heaven while Satan is loosed to destroy things for a while. Idk exactly the scripture. Sorry. I've looked it up, but can't find the specific one. We believe that Israel became a nation in the 1940s, but they believe that it wasn't long after Jesus was resurrected and that generation died off then came back and raptured the believers and then antichrist came and deceived the world already.

First, thank you so much for your generous donation but also for your important question.

The view you're describing sounds like preterism (specifically "full preterism"), which teaches that most or all biblical prophecies were fulfilled in 70 AD when Rome destroyed Jerusalem.

The scripture they're likely referring to is Matthew 24:34: "Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened."

When we look at Matthew 24:34 in context, Jesus is answering questions about both the Temple's destruction in 70 AD and His return, which is still future. The first part of Matthew 24 (verses 4-35) describes events leading to the Temple's destruction, but then verse 36 shifts dramatically: "But about that day or hour no one knows."

This couldn't refer to 70 AD since Jesus had just given specific signs. The phrase "this generation" likely refers to the generation that sees all the signs together, including those not fulfilled in 70 AD.

Regarding Israel as a nation, Ezekiel 37 prophesies Israel being regathered from "all the countries." This happened in 1948, not 70 AD. After the Roman destruction, Israel was completely scattered and didn't exist as a nation again until 1948.

Jesus Himself said in Luke 21:24 that Jerusalem would be "trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." Jerusalem wasn't under Jewish control again until 1967.

The Rapture also clearly hasn't happened yet. In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Paul describes a literal, visible resurrection and catching up of believers. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 speaks of a physical transformation happening "in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye."

Church history shows a continuous Christian presence since the first century with NO mass disappearance of believers.

As for Satan being bound and then released, Revelation 20:1-3 describes a thousand-year period of binding followed by a release. If we're currently in the period after Satan's release, where was the millennium of peace? Church history shows no period of Christ visibly reigning on earth for a thousand years.

The premillennial view we hold aligns with a literal reading of Scripture. Jesus hasn't returned yet, the Rapture is still future, and we're watching prophecy unfold, especially concerning Israel, just as the Bible predicted.

We'd encourage this person to study Daniel 9:24-27 (the seventy weeks prophecy), Revelation 19-20 (Christ's return and the millennium), and Zechariah 14 (Jesus physically returning to the Mount of Olives). These passages are very difficult to reconcile with everything being fulfilled in 70 AD.
