Ukraine, Russia and Bible Prophecy
A word from Greg Laurie on the current events happening in Ukraine
Before the brief video below, my friend Dr. Mark Hitchcock asked me to let this community know that he’s hosting a prophecy conference at his church tomorrow—Saturday, February 26—in Norman, Oklahoma.
The Marking the Times Conference is sold out, but there are livestream passes still available. Tomorrow’s schedule includes Bible prophecy teachers like Amir Tsarfati, Jack Hibbs, and several others. I know this community will appreciate what they have to say. The live feed begins around 9 am and continues all day.

Now, I know many of you have been paying attention to the news out of Ukraine. Jimmy Evans wrote and spoke on the topic already yesterday, and Mark Hitchcock explained the conflict very clearly last week.
I join these men in the belief that what is happening now in Ukraine is a sign of the times and proof that we are living in the last days. It may even be a prelude to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38, in which Magog (whom many think may be modern-day Russia) attacks the nation of Israel from the north. This could happen very much like the way Russia is attacking Ukraine this week.
In the short video below, I show how this aggression, combined with other factors, make a convincing case that the world’s “birth pains” are coming faster and faster.
What can you do? Tell others about Jesus. Pray for the people of Ukraine. Pray for our nation’s leaders, that they will make prudent and wise decisions.
And look up, for your salvation is near.

I’m on the east coast tonight watching the coverage by FOX of the war in Ukraine. It is surreal, as our President leaves the White House for the night, and Zelenskyy is on his own to defend his Country, against an impossible foe. Can’t help but think that the “peace keeper” will arrive on the scene soon. It is heart breaking, but part of God’s plan. What else can it be? Jimmy has always said that he shares with us what the Bible says, so we will be able to make sense of what is happening in the world, and be comforted. We are there. Tonight, more than ever, we are there. They are trying to distract us with Supreme Court picks and new CDC guidelines, but the World is watching, and maybe some are wising up. Something is up. What is it? It is, that Jesus is coming soon, and time for those who do not know Jesus, who will save them from the wrath, is running out. My thanks to the Watchmen on the wall. Tonight proves, that you have been right all along, because the Bible is never wrong. Prayers for those who are dying to protect their freedoms. May you know the Lord, we pray. We do sincerely pray. 🌻
