Every Friday, I answer a common question related to the end times. Today’s is about Ezekiel 38 and why some translations don’t mention the “prince of Rosh.”


Question:

In Ezekiel 38. some Bible versions say Gog is the “prince of Rosh,” while some simply say he is a chief or a leader. Some Bible scholars believe Rosh is a reference to Russia, but others do not make that application. For example, the KJV doesn’t mention Rosh; it only mentions Meshech and Tubal. Why is Rosh missing in some of the English translations?
