Thank you Dr. Hitchcock, As a Mother who has a beautiful son living in Heaven, the last paragraph brings joy and sadness. Oh how I long to leave the earth we are currently living in and be set free with Jesus. I pray it’s not much longer.

Jacci… Yes! His (noticed this was a Pastor Greg Laurie post) last lines captured my heart too! “God will restore what you have lost. He won’t just compensate for the loss. He will restore it.” All things will be renewed & restored & resurrected! Amen…. Maranatha!❤️🤍💙

What a day That will be is the name of this song Blondie. Look it up on you tube. My great aunt that died when she was 95 seen the guy playing the piano who wrote this song. She said you should have seen how happy he got while singing it.

Chris, which hymn is this??

Chris C. chris@veritasvox.com's avatar

Not sure. It was a song that I sung in the church I got saved in. An offshoot Pentecostal branch where I got my foundation set in Christ to be exact.

That hymn is called What A Day That Will Be. Copyright in 1955 by Ben L Speer.

What a beautiful encouraging message. I very much look forward to the day when I am reunited with my sweet husband and other family members, several of them who were very young and have been gone from us for a number of years.

Ya, a little break from this reality to the Heaven on earth reality, is most welcome!! Thank-you Pastor Mark! You put it all in perspective. In the last few weeks I have had my eyes checked, correction needed; had 2 Physicals, one for work and one for my Doctor; had my 6th month dental checkup and cleaning; a mammogram; a colonoscopy; an injection from spine and pain; a visit to the ENT to clear up an ear issue; PT on my ears, PT on my back, and throw in a couple of Doctor visits in between! I even had to take my Jewish cat Amos to the Vet! Am I looking forward to Heaven on earth? You bet!! I think the best part, as Mark Hitchcock alluded to, is that God has a job waiting for us, based on who we are, and what He has planned for us in eternity to come. I can’t wait for that part because I know it will be perfectly suited for me. I am ready to put this beautiful, God centered, but burdensome life behind, and Trust Him completely with the future to come! Come Lord Jesus! We wait on You. Not a minute too early, and not a minute too late, we keep on keeping on because we know that every moment with You on this earth, is another moment to know You better, and to serve You in the way we were designed. Glory to Your name, and Praise, Amen! We look forward to Heaven on earth, and a Heavenly life with You, forever!! 🌻

We're all still really sick...day 9....but each day a bit better.. this was a doozy. I do feel it was in response to the baptism . The enemy was really mad at seeing my family saved...lol. Next week this time we'll all be back to our normal. How about your family? ❤️ I hope you're all doing better...

We’re having a nice day, just the two of us. Running errands/lunch out. On our way home to nap :)

Well, David. Hmm. Thanks for pointing this out. It’s my pet peeve when people attribute a writing to the wrong writer :). But I KNOW that Mark was listed as the author when I read it an hour after it was published.

Someone please help me!!

Have you ever watched a home restoration on television. Some homes look as if they would be better off demolishing, but then along comes a crew and makes it look like a beautiful new home and the owners are awed by it. Imagine that this is what it's going to be like. All the ugliness will disappear and in it's place there is this beautiful new place, but

I imagine that it will be thousands of times better. This is a small comparison, but we have so much to look forward to. The grande finale will be our new beginning. Thank you Pastor Evan your visuals always bring us so much hope and happiness. God bless you. God bless you all my brothers and sisters.
