Thanks, Mark!

One thing I believe God showed me recently is that the Tribulation is a mercy. If Jesus just showed up unannounced and treads the winepress of the Wrath of God, most people would go straight to Hell. This 7-year period allows God to take away all of the false comforts that separate people from admitting they are sinners in need of a Savior (and that Jesus is that Savior). This World is propped up on lies and denial, and God brings it all crashing down, so they must turn to Him for all their needs. Of course Satan will offer his version, having to take his Mark of the Beast in order to continue limping along in untruth, but I believe people will see through this and see the Truth of Jesus through all that suffering.

If you grow a crop of wheat and do not make it suffer (thresh it), you end up with no grain, everyone starves, and the wheat gets thrown away (burned). Similarly, if God doesn’t thresh the non-Church folk, there won’t be a harvest, and they will all be burned in Hell fire.

Hi Jeremy, I tend to agree. The Tribulation will be an act of mercy and an answer to prayer for many of us parents who have prayed and prayed and prayed… for our kids who got caught up in the early stages of the strong delusion, and whose hearts were hardened by such, even before the wrath of God began. God have mercy, and He will, while there is still breath, they have the opportunity to choose Him and repent of their sin, seeing their way clearly with Jesus as their Lord and Savior, finally, and forever. This was a very good article by Mark, however, and that interpretation of 2 Thessalonians. Thank-you Mark, for how you brought that home. 🌻.

Hi Kris ...... We're on the same page (perhaps many others too) as far as having kids and loved ones being caught up in the world deceptions. It's incredibly comforting knowing that God will still have mercy during the Tribulation period as we trust that's when our loved ones will repent and believe....... God Bless!!!

Oh yes, I believe many others. It was the perfect sting; we never even knew what hit us. When I finally figured it out, and went to the Lord with the pain of it all, He allowed me to carefully review the steps that had been mistakenly taken, feel the remorse, and repent where it was applicable. It was about a 2 year process. Like David after his sin-conceived-baby died, I finally got up, and brushed myself off, and realized that my prayers were still being heard, and that God is still in the business of making a way; forgiving us of all our sins, and moving on. So our walk with the Lord goes on, and is still full of incredible opportunities to reach out to who ever He puts in front of us, until death, (never forgetting those who still need a touch from Him and are closest to our Hearts) or the Rapture comes. 🌻

Ya, I agree! Good fun morning! It’s been awhile since I have had the time to jump in with both feet on such a good topic, due to work, and now the Doc has me in PT twice a week, dealing with some pretty troublesome issues…. But our God is Greater!! Thanks to everyone who put down your thoughts. And lots of new people too! That always makes it fun! We learn and grow together!! 🌻

I tend to disagree. I think it will be easier to believe after the Rapture. They will be asking, those who were left behind, ("what the hell just happened"), and many that were told by friends about the Rapture, and they didn't believe what their friends were saying, and thinking we were "wack Jobs", laughing at us. Of course many will get sucked in believing we all were abducted by UFO's.

Expand full comment

I agree with you! It will be easier to believe but harder to maintain that belief, since they will be called to suffer and die for it. I also believe Satan will use aliens as the deception and explanation for the Rapture. You won’t be able to disprove aliens then: their only job will be to understand and believe it’s Satan appearing as an angel of light and not beings from another planet.

Expand full comment

Thanks Jeremy. I also believe these so called aliens are Satan's demonic angels disguised as aliens from other worlds!!!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Richie. I agree and pray that the Rapture will be proof to former deniers and doubters that God is Who He says He is and the only Way to eternal life. And that they will courageously look beyond the severe trials ahead of them and choose everlasting life.

We are fortunate to have such good and solid Biblical teaching here. In my little cocoon world at times, I have not realized how fallen away a number of the churches have become in teaching (or not teaching) sound doctrine. I’ve talked to family and friends over the years as it comes up, that most of the big differences nowadays are value differences. Not a problem of people being less intelligent. I’ve noticed that most people have a very strong set of values that they create their world view from. The way they process information and form opinions. So it really is more a matter of the reaching hearts as the core issue. I know I’m incredibly set in my ways and beliefs, though trying to be open to consider things if I have not understood them correctly in the Bible. Which brings us to the point that most rejection of Christ is a matter of pride, rebellion or maybe even hurt for some. Many of the arguments against Christ are attempts and protecting or preserving these motivations. Which is why contending with people philosophically isn’t as effective, at least to start with. I think the more effective door to be unlocked in having meaningful change is through relationship and closeness, most of the time. And persistence over time, where the unsaved can really grasp that they are cared about. People will listen if they truly know they are cared about. At least most of them. I don’t know how many times I beat my head on a wall when I was younger, arguing with people about all the reasons why Christianity is right, which are true. I am reminded that we are message bearers and the hands of Christ, not the ones that make people choose Christ. He has to work on their hearts, while we do our part. And we must stand fast in our values. The world is desperately searching for boundaries and glimpses of eternity. The Bible says eternity is placed in the hearts of man. They can see those things in us hopefully or maybe examples like inspiring marriages. When it comes to salvation after the rapture, it seems self evident to me that there is still a choice to choose or reject Christ and Pastor Mark showed scripture saying exactly that in Revelation. There will be many that will be deceived and/or hardened in their hearts. There will be many that come to Christ that knew better before the rapture and will make the needed change afterward. And we are reminded that as bad as death is, missing eternity is far worse in the big picture when it comes to how God looks at it. God bless all of you my friends on another fine Sunday here in the final days of this age.

"I don’t know how many times I beat my head on a wall when I was younger, arguing with people about all the reasons why Christianity is right, which are true."

People's near death experiences confirm that God is real and Jesus is real, by people who cannot lie. I have pulled that out, because it's not so much a matter of faith or belief in something invisible or unprovable.

"The Rapture may be the greatest evangelistic tool in human history" ..... I love this quote by pastor Mark who I always look forward to hearing from. Not only do I find his biblical teaching sound but I suppose I'm also comforted by the truth of that quote as I trust that God will save my loved ones who will very likely find themselves left behind after the Rapture of the Church. I find that most people who reject the gospel today simply don't have a very solid foundation of how the universe was initiated (ie. where we all come from). They're full of pride and would rather follow the crowd believing the lie of evolution (or some made-up imaginary quasi-combination of pure nonsense). They have a hard time wrapping their minds around God speaking everything into existence, they refuse to humble themselves, and can't seem to accept that the Creator of the universe is beyond our human understanding (thus making Him God). I find that they waffle around saying "well, we could have come from some distant galaxy", or "well, sure there could be a God somewhere up there, but there could also be some alien life up there too, right?". So, by the time the conversation leads to the Rapture of believers and the end times, I assume some of you also experience some strange looks coming your way. This is where I am reminded that love and patience has to come into play, so I'm working on it.........Keep the faith!!!...... Forward and Upward!!!

And I would add, the State Universities and even Elementary Schools as I look back, who have made a very calculated effort to deceive our children into globalism as a religion, that they would be willing to reject even their own parents in order to be part. And it is even worse now. Way worse. But it makes sense if you think about it from a prophetic time line. This deception had to start somewhere, and be so subtle that even their own parents did not see the spiritual damage being done, until it was too late. But it is never too late with God. He has captured our tears in a bottle…. He does not turn a deaf ear. He hears us, even now. Only God knows the Heart for sure. So true. And we must Trust Him, even with them, because He is the perfect Judge. 🌻

When the AntiChrist appears on the earth after the rapture, people are going to be required as part of the global governance to take a mark in their hand or forehead, in order to buy or sell. I believe that device will change their DNA to something other than human, and prevent them from being saved. But if not, taking the mark of the beast is a willful act of choosing a god other than Christ and they will be eliminated by the AntiChrist! “As the days of Noah were, so shall the coming of the son of man be.” I believe changed DNA was the reason God sent the flood to destroy half-men/half angel entities from the earth. All men and animals were destroyed by the flood, except pairs of animals who entered the Ark with Noah and his family which were still pure in their DNA! I believe JESUS is the spiritual ARK of God right now! To enter heaven, one has to be born again!

Those who choose not to take the mark will be killed by the AntiChrist!

Jimmy are you implying that the vaccine is the mark, some say it may change your DNA,if you have taken the vaccine can you still be saved?

Expand full comment

I would say you can still be Saved, seeing as how I have taken the vaccine and Jesus is still my Lord and Savior. Even if these corruptible bodies take on a little more corruption, Jesus is in a safe and sinless place, our hearts, which is reserved for Him, like the ark of the covenant, in a place that cannot be corrupted in any way, shape or form, and awaiting our new bodies.

I’ve heard this question a lot in the past year or so. The vax is not the mark. You would need to have a revealed antichrist in place enforcing its usage or lack thereof. You can still buy or sell without the vax. I do see this as a forerunner of days to come and a way of conditioning peoples minds to a way of thinking. I don’t believe there will be any mistake what the mark is when the antichrist shows up because the Bible clearly says it is an unforgivable sin to take it.

The Mark happens after the rapture. The vaccine to me mimics the Mark though. A subtle way to getting us use to taking such things!

Good morning everyone and have a blessed Sunday! I have a question regarding people becoming saved after rapture teaching. So if it's like in the days of Noah... did the other people still get a chance to get saved after the door of the ark closed? And also what about Matthew 25 the parable of the 10 bridesmaids? The 5 foolish ones went to buy more oil for there lamps and when they came back knocking on door the bridegroom answered "believe me, I don't know you!"

Expand full comment

Good morning Roy. I'll share with you my understanding of those passages. We're told that the end times (ie. just prior to something very significant such as the Rapture happening) will be as in the days of Noah. Things will appear to be "normal" as in buying, selling, planting, etc., as well as a whole lot of "evil" in the world. I don't believe there was a second chance for everyone who perished during the flood. I believe that this passage was given to us in order that we recognize the approaching of end times on God's timeline. Similarly, parable of the 10 bridesmaids, it has to do with being ready for the Rapture, not necessarily getting a second chance to salvation after the Rapture. 5 were ready to meet the bridegroom and they were raptured. I believe the context is that the 5 foolish ones were not ready and thus the bridegroom said "I don't know you" so they were not raptured. In this context (of being ready or not being ready for the bridegroom / Rapture), I do believe that the 5 foolish ones will have the opportunity to be saved during the Tribulation, especially because they will have realized that they had missed the Rapture........... Hope this helps..... God Bless!!!.

Those 5 virgins may not have had praying moms…. Or perhaps they just never had the oil, or Holy Spirit, to begin with, which is what I believe that Scripture actually says. Just a thought. 🌻

Expand full comment

Without the Holy Spirit (The Anointing Oil of God, who is the Spirit of the Father and of Christ) we cannot be born again, and if we are not born again, we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Many Individuals claim to be Christians because they believe some or even all the Word of God! But if they do not have the Spirit of God (and one only has to ask God for it) they don’t belong to God. Read John 14.

I believe the Bible says TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION! Every human being has a great enemy who hates God and every person created in His image! To hear the Gospel and reject it doesn’t guarantee anyone a second chance! Death by plan or accident can happen to anyone at anytime! “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!” Jesus paid an unbelievable price for you to be born again so you can be in heaven and also reign on earth with Him! Two of my Children have decided that Christianity isn't for them, they believe in God but are not practicing Christianity. They were both raised in a wonderful church that teaches the full Gospel and the Grace of Christ. Will they Go in the Rapture or be left behind and have to face the wrath of God. I'm a praying mama and a heartbroken one too. I tried to give them the word of God, they accepted Christ when they were young but not to young to understand what they were doing. College got a hold of them and now we are facing this situation. I know it says to raise Your children in the Lord and they will not depart far from him but we are on limited time here. I don't want to fear but I don't want to lose my children to the Tribulation. Any advise would be great.

Thanks, Dr. Hitchcock. I, when reading the scriptures that would seem to blame God for hardening hearts and causing a delusion, have felt that this was not within God's character, and I liked that you explained these things in the way you did, as I myself have tried to rationalize. It seems to be a principle not to ascribe blame to God.
