Thanks, Jimmy. What is the Preterist view on the Great Commission? Are we already finished with spreading the Gospel in this view?

Thank you!! I have several friends who hold to the partial preterist interpretation. I’ve read a book written by a partial preterist theologian, and it was well written and researched, but I have come to the same conclusion you discussed above. The teaching I received over the years concerning Revelation was so fear-filled and threatening that I can see why people have looked for other interpretations. Filling someone with fear over not being good enough to make the rapture sure isn’t a blessed hope. Thank you again!!

Yes, Thank-you again Jimmy Evans! You hit the nail on the head! In my experience, you can be having a perfectly good anointed conversation with another Believer, on a prayer call, or listening to a sermon.... and the end-times will come up. Suddenly, you feel like you just stepped into an alternate reality. No mention of a Rapture, or a 7 year Tribulation period, or the Marriage Feast of the Lamb which Jesus has prepared for His Bride, or the Rise of an Antichrist, or 144,000 Witnesses who will witness to the World, Or the Great Tribulation where all hell brakes out for the Tribulation Saints, culminating in the Return of Christ, and His 1000 year Rule and Reign, followed by the White Throne Judgement; the New Heaven and New Earth, and the ages to come. None of that. Instead, what you hear, is an almost desperate need, for the Church to accomplish all this on Her own, so that things will get better, with the help of political leaders, this Great Harvest, which will usher in His glorious appearing, so He can take over, Rule and Reign. The end. Mmmmm. Back to reality. It is not going to get better. Truth is, it is going to get worse, much worse, according to the Scriptures. God is in Charge, like it says in Psalm 2. He calls the shots. The Church has grown Lukewarm. Their is gross immorality, in this Nation and the World. The Antichrist religion, removing the one true God, is all but here. And there is more. Much more. That is why, more than ever, the Church needs to hear the Truth, from the Scriptures, about Her future. These final, last days are important for all of us, as we prepare to meet our Bridegroom in the Rapture, and we concentrate on our intimacy with Him. It is the Blessed Hope. He will keep us from His Wrath as He has promised. Pastors, wake up! Jesus is almost here to get His Bride. It’s not too late. Change your tune. Tipping Point. It’s for you.

Thank you ! I ran into one of these believers in a discussion. I had never heard of this before and I didn’t have the scripture to defend it but I totally disagreed with it.

Thank you for the clarity!

Pastor Jimmy THANK YOU for this post filled from beginning to end with solid truth & wisdom! As you know I had serious questions after reading the notes from a very popular pastor & his study on Revelations. It was really really wonky! What disturbed me the most, now I understand was full preterism belief, taking out the words rapture, tribulation, second coming, antichrist, millinium from his paraphrase The Passion. John, in Revelations 22 solemnly warns about adding or taking out words of prophesy in the book. Thank you for your words of wisdom and pointing us to The Bible so that we can all renew our strength & understanding of Scripture! Blessings to you & praying for you always Pastor Jimmy!💛

Anyone have feelings on this ? Please @jimmyevans let me know your feelings about this. I’d hate to be supporting the wrong person in this battle. “My people die for lack of knowledge.”
