Happy 2023 TP family!!!! Instead of feeling anxious that we’re still here and not raptured I want to encourage you to thank Jesus every day we have breath on this earth for more opportunities to share the good news! (My word this year is thankfulness) In a twinkle of an eye, our Groom will rescue us and we will have perfect, new, resurrected bodies. We are THAT generation. What a beautiful post to start off the new year…. Thank you Jimmy! Let’s continue to encourage one another, support, love, and pray for each other on the Tipping Point! This community is a unique place— let’s dive in the Word deeper, renew a teachable spirit and focus our heart & mind on these 5 teachings from the early church. Love y’all…..💛

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭

Great Point Kari!! Guess I find myself not really worring about the rapture of the church and wandering when it wil happen, but am I doing all that Jesus would want me to do to bring other nonbelievers with us to an understanding for how much Jesus loves us and especially during these trying times. (Matthew 28:19-20)

I've had friends that want to "disown" me for my beliefs of a "pretribe" rapture. I believe the Bible, when Jesus said only the Father in heaven knows the time or day, but you will know the signs.

Personally I've lost a job of 35 years because of my beliefs in God's word, (Revelations 18:23) and I know that I am blessed and a better person for all that God continues to do through me and I have been tested and things that I thought were important, just aren't anymore. I am continuing growing in faith and I'm always looking for opportunities to share our Jesus with others. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."Philippians 4:6-7 ESV

Each day is a blessing....I am always reminded to be grateful of another day that can be used to tell someone of our Jesus!!

Good word, Kari! I already started ordering New Testaments in other languages (Spanish, Vietnamese, etc.). Jesus keeps bringing people into our path for whom English is not their primary language, and He makes a way to share a small gift and a copy of the New Testament in their primary language. I’ve found ChristianBook.com and Amazon.com to be good resources for these.

Nice message pastor. He’s still got family He needs to bring in. We give to a few of the Bible printing organizations that do the audio Boles in peoples’ native tongues. They send videos and pictures of the new believers that are receiving these Bibles. When I see the look on their faces and the joy, I better understand why we are waiting. There are still some really precious people He is brining on our current day ark. So while we wait, I try to keep their faces in my mind, these children of His that are so precious to Him. It really is leaving the 99 to go out and rescue the one. Applies exactly to our days. Happy new years brothers and sisters. It will be soon though 😂

Make a plan for 2023!

Luke 2:52 is like the one transitional verse we have about Jesus where he grew, and he grew in 4 ways: “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

1. He grew in wisdom (intellectually)

2. He grew in stature (physically)

3. He grew in favor with God (spiritually)

4. He grew in favor with man (relationally)

If Jesus grew, how much more important is it that you and I grow? In 2023, I’m making a plan to grow because without a plan, I am already planning to fail. You can make a plan too by dividing a piece of paper into four sections and filling it in with anything. This is just an example:

---------------------------

WISDOM (Intellectually)

---------------------------

*This year I want to learn about_______

*Read 1 book per month:

*Listen to (audiobook/podcast) about ________

*Personal finances: Learn how to budget. How to invest. How to get out of debt.

*Learn a new skill, hobby, language, instrument.

-----------------------

STATURE (Physically)

-----------------------

*Find a gym

*Workout ___ days per week

*Eat better. Cut certain foods. Stop eating after 7pm. Stop drinking soda.

*Sleep more: Goal: is 7 hrs per night. Go to bed earlier & wake up earlier.

*Intermittent fast: 8am to 12pm (Noon)

-----------------------------------

FAVOR WITH GOD (Spiritually)

-----------------------------------

*Read my Bible

*21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

*Get in a small group

*Lead a small group

*Go through the Growth Track at church

*Serve on the Dream Team at church

------------------------------------

FAVOR WITH MAN (Relationally)

------------------------------------

*Date night once per week

*Go on vacation without the kids

*Invest in a specific friendship with________

*Meet new friends-Find friends and community at church

*Get in a group in February at church

*Schedule a play-date with other families

My hope is that this encourages someone to make a plan. Even if you fail miserably, you will gain so much!

Pastors Jimmy, Mark, Greg and our Tipping Point Family:

Last night as the clock struck 12 midnight the new year of 2023 began. Remember God knows the end from the beginning. No mater what transpires in the world and in our individual lives in 2023 God already knows and has the world and us in His hands. Fear nothing for our God is sovereign and has complete control and purpose over all things!

Eggs here in Fort Myers, FL are $5.50 a dozen. There is one thing though that is priceless and that is the BLOOD OF GOD'S LAMB. It can't be bought or earned as it is freely given to all who own their sin and receive Jesus' forgiveness through His Blood shed on Calvary's cross. Remember there is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood. God shed blood the first time in the Garden of Eden to cover Adam and Eve's nakedness. God shed blood the last time when His plan for the Blood of Jesus was shed not as a covering for our sin but for our total redemption from sin.

See you soon; here, in the air or up there!

ETERNITY WITH OUR GOD IS IMMINENT!

(((HUGS))) to all, Carol

Happy New Year family. How can we truly be happy in this world today? We all see the evil all around us. Skyrocketing prices for just about everything. Wars, rumors of war, famine, pestilence, severe weather, earthquakes, good being called evil, evil called good, and incredible deception. Sound familiar?

Yet as a believer we can peace, great joy, and true happiness because we are not of this world. Our citizenship is in Heaven. We see all in this world falling right into place. Just like Jesus and the Apostles said it would.

Oh Pastor Jimmy, I loved your message this morning. What sharing the gospel truly meant to the early church. Seeing His ascension and being eagerly expectant of His return for them. How else should we want to live?

As a believer, I’m ready for Jesus to come get us. Today would be great!!! Yet, what about all those who will be left behind. Maybe family members and close friends? Co-workers, neighbors, those kind people at the stores we frequently visit. They need Jesus just as much as I did.

Lord, I pray that my heart will continue to renew this year, so I can be more long suffering like you and urgently reach out with the gospel message. Direct my paths, anoint my words, and let your love shine thru me to those who don’t you. Help me lead many to Christ before you come for us.

I love you TP family. Thank you for all your prayers and including me in all these discussions. I look forward to what God is going to do 2023 thru TP Pastors and all my brothers and sisters in Christ here in our community. May the praise reports be supernaturally abundant.

Ok, well I finally found a reference to the 4th temple in my new commentary called Exploring Bible Prophecy from Genesis to Revelation by Tim LaHaye and Ed Hindson. For those of you that have this book it is on page 257. It has been bugging me because I referred to the 4th temple one day at Church, at a ladies Bible Study, and pretty much the whole room turned on me to say they had never heard of a 4th temple. So Tim and Ed say the Messianic or Kingdom age temple during the Millennium, is the 4th Temple. Thank-you Lord. I got it. 🌺

Hi Bruce! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am! It is the first time in all my years studying end times prophecy that I have had ALL the end times prophecy in one place with commentary. I know that all prophecy teachers do not agree on everything, but I know Pastor Evans has great respect for Tim LaHaye and so do I. Ed Hendson wrote so many books and taught at Liberty for so many years, that he is definitely credible. I had lunch with a dear friend this week who is older than me, and she remembers being a young girl sitting in his classroom at Liberty…. So fun! Enjoy the book! 🌺

Hi David, yes! Used by permission and they adopted it. That was the part I was actually trying to figure out.... Was Randall Price the only one who referred to it that way, or was there others? Ed Hindson is pretty well know in these parts, diseased now, but was the assistant chancellor and dean of the Institute of Biblical Studies at Liberty University in Virginia. And, of course, Tim LaHaye. I was concerned about giving “misinformation” in church, but I guess with those 2 guys behind me, I was ok in what I said. Again, thank-you Jesus. I did not want to be leading people in the wrong direction. Hopefully they looked it up and we’re able to find some understanding of that term. 🌺

Hi Pastor Jimmy and team. I appreciate all the work you guys do and I want to thank you. This is my first comment, and this is a question I've had for a very long time as a Christian and especially since one of my closest friends passed away. His name was Daniel and he was an atheist and I would talk to him about God fairly regularly basis and I think that's one of the reasons why he stopped talking to me. We were friends for many years and then we just kind of grew apart and I didn't talk to him for probably two or three years and then out of the blue I get a link from him to a Facebook message that was from years earlier. The post on Facebook basically read that I was a really good friend to him and he missed me. He was just putting that out to the world I guess but I didn't see it at the time he put it out because I didn't even have Facebook. At the time we started to trip apart I was getting strong Vibes that he didn't really want to talk to me anymore so I just kind of left him alone and decided I'd wait for him to contact me which happened shortly after I got that Facebook message post. He told me he didn't contact me for so long because he lost his phone and got a new phone number. He said he lost all his contacts but we had several mutual friends who I still talked to that he could have got my number from anytime, so it rang very hollow to me. I did not mention that though, I was just glad to hear from him. Anyways we talked about our families and caught up with each other's lives. It was near holiday time and he had moved to Texas unbeknownst to me but said he said he was coming back for Thanksgiving and wanted to get together. That never happened but shortly before Christmas I got the sad news that he had passed away in a car accident. He was very young at the time, I think we were both around 30 or so(I'm 41 now)and I always wondered if any of my messages got through to him because I was very concerned for his eternity. So my question to you is, why is it that some people get to make mistakes all their lives, be the worst person for 30 40 50 60 plus years and then find their way to Christ and some people die when they're still young and dumb and haven't really had a chance to figure that out? Does God already know their future, that they would never turn around and so let them pass away early into damnation? This rings extremely unfair in my mind but I know God is the ultimate of impartial judges, just, kind and fair in His wisdom. I was wondering your opinion on how this exactly works? Thank you.

Hi William, I just read your comment and it touched my heart. First of all, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend and how much that hurt your heart. This much I know.... only God knows our hearts. If you friend (even at the last second of his life) confessed that Jesus is King and Savior, he would be saved. Think about the thief that hung next to Jesus on the cross. At the very last moments of his life, he believed that Jesus was the Savior. Jesus told him, I will see you soon in glory. https://www.gotquestions.org/thief-on-the-cross.html Also, take into account when we are raptured and millions, billions of people globally are left behind. Through the ministry of the two witnesses and the 144K radical Jewish messengers, possibly millions/billions of people will refuse the mark of the beast. Most of those new, tribulation believers will be murdered for their new faith in Jesus. God's great mercy & gift of salvation will still be available until the very very end of the tribulation. Those new believers will also be in glory with those seasoned believers who knew Christ for years. No one knows how long we will live on this earth. My prayer for you, that someday you will see your friend in paradise. He had a loving friend in you that was deeply concerned for his eternity. We all have to make that eternal choice and prayerfully he did that before he died. Again, I'm so sorry..... I really like this song. It talks about sitting at the wedding table in heaven with brand new believers who have only just believed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIpxpjrInA8 💛

I'm so sorry for the uncertainty and heartbreak you are going through William. I have a niece that passed away unexpectedly in 2013 at the age of 24. I honestly don't know if she was saved when she passed away. Sometimes when I think of the reunion we will have with our loved ones who passed away, I wonder if she will be in heaven. We all have loved ones who refuse to listen to us with the end times warnings to get right with the Lord. We have even used the logic of us not knowing when we will take our last breath. Still can't get through to these particular people. It's heartbreaking to see their refusal, rejection or blindness. All we can do is plant the seed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and let the Holy Spirit take over. Ask the Lord to give us the peace during these stressful times. God bless you.
