Every Friday, I answer a common question related to the end times. Today’s is about the seven-year peace agreement confirmed by the Antichrist.
Question:
How do you see the seven-year peace agreement being generated? What position of authority would the Antichrist be in for him to sign it without being obvious that it is him?
The Bible does not say that the Antichrist signs or makes a treaty or agreement. He either confirms or approves something that has already happened. He will have to be in some kind of a governmental position, especially related to Israel, because this is a formal covenant he is making with them.
This is the prophet Daniel describing the evil reign of the Antichrist:
“Thus he said:
‘The fourth beast shall be
A fourth kingdom on earth,
Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,
And shall devour the whole earth,
Trample it and break it in pieces.
24 The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.
25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time.
26 ‘But the court shall be seated,
And they shall take away his dominion,
To consume and destroy it forever.
27 Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’”
—Daniel 7:23-27 (NKJV)
This passage is talking about the Antichrist and his global reign during the Tribulation. The reason I included that full text from Daniel is that it ends with the completion of the story of the Tribulation—Jesus returns at the Second Coming, and the saints rule and reign with Him during the Millennium.
Before then, a beast (the Antichrist) will rise up with 10 kings under him. The Antichrist will subdue three kings, but then he will rule over these 10 kingdoms. We know from Daniel 9 that he will arise from a revived Roman Empire. That area includes what today would be the European Union, parts of the Middle East, and Northern Africa.
In my opinion, the Gog-Magog War will coincide with the Antichrist’s rise to power. Some devastating event will happen, which is going to give him the opportunity to confirm his covenant with Israel. In the middle of the Tribulation, he will go into the Temple and proclaim himself God and speak pompous words against God. That is the Abomination of Desolation, which Jesus mentions in Matthew 24.
Do you have a question you’d like me to answer in a Friday written segment or on the Tipping Point Show? Ask it in the comments! My team and I read every comment and try to answer as many subscriber questions as possible.
Tipping Point Readers,
I was shocked and devastated by Cindy Clemishire’s account, published this June, and
I applaud her courage to come forward. First and foremost, I pray for God’s comfort to
surround Ms. Clemishire, her family, and all those who know and love her.
Prior to the launch of Gateway, Robert Morris shared with me that he “had an affair with
a woman in [his] early 20s.” He represented that he stepped out of ministry and was
fully restored. I was unaware of anything like the allegations shared last week until I
read Ms. Clemishire’s story in the Wartburg Watch.
In 2020, I resigned from Gateway Church. At that time, I formally severed all ties with
Gateway after expressing my deep concern over the dishonest and toxic leadership
environment created by Robert Morris and the Gateway leadership. As a result,
Gateway removed all of my messages and materials from their website and store.
Though my heart is heavy on this matter, I’ve chosen not to make a more formal
statement than this as I have no details to add. I look forward to continuing to serve you
on Tipping Point with content related to biblical prophecy.

It’s tempting to look over the landscape of today’s world and wonder where that Antichrist will come from. In the Left Behind series, Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins guessed that the Antichrist would come from Romania. I have a guess too and I am watching him. He is a fighter, but also a peacemaker, and already a friend of Israel. Is it him? Time will tell. Is he about to drop on the scene? I hope so. Is he AI? Don’t know. Am I wrong? Probably. I want to go home to Jesus. Let’s get this over with. While we are still here, prayers and more prayers for all those who are still holding out on Jesus, and especially for God’s Chosen nation. Jesus has the wheel. 💜
