I always look forward to read this post about end times .Pastor Evans you are so clear and thorough in these articles which make it easy to understand. Thank you for investing your time and energy into this to bless us .
And yes we are waiting for our Heavenly Father with great expectations.
Thank you so much for covering this subject so well! You are a blessing and an encouragement to me, and the church. Looking forward to all that God has for us in this season
Pastor J, Thank you so much for the updates and your book Tipping Point. It has been so amazing all the opportunities to share the gospel these past six months. The harvest is doing its job - it's ready! My daily prayer has been asking the Lord for boldness and opportunities to share the Gospel. It's been amazing how the Holy Spirit works in any given moment or situation pretty much on a daly basis lately, and the openness of people. Thanks Again!
Hello Pastor Jimmy, In a previous episode, you answered the question about children before the age of accountability being taken up in the rapture. You said ‘believers’ children will go with them. Why wouldn’t all the children be taken up before the age of accountability?
Hi Julie.... I was re-reading this post and saw your comment. Someone just asked that question on his most current post. I have always believed any child (parents who are believers or lost) *under* the age of accountability (and special needs at any age) will be raptured. But, I think he also mentioned pregnant women & those nursing (babies born during the tribulation) would be on earth during the 7 years. I would assume any baby born during trib and if they die would go to heaven. I hope he talks more about this soon.... it's a difficult subject.
I was digging through a few more posts that Pastor Jimmy wrote about "generation" and found this quote from June 11, 2019 "If a generation is seventy years it was fulfilled on May 14, 2018 when Israel celebrated its seventieth birthday as a new nation. If it is eighty years it will be May 14th, 2028." https://endtimes.substack.com/p/escaping-the-tribulation I also remember him saying in a past post that the 7 years of tribulation may or may not be added to the 80 year timeline. (I can't find that post) Of course, no one but the Father knows when the rapture will happen, but interesting that the verse.... "this generation will by no means pass away till ALL things take place" again keeps us looking up. If it's 6 months or 7 yrs until the rapture we need to boldly share the gospel. Any thoughts?
I think your last sentence says it all :) Plan as though you have 100 years left, but live like you're not promised tomorrow. We need to be bold and work to lead people to Jesus. I know first hand that it can be tough at times, but just pray and allow the Holy Spirit to work. I have a sister that I'm worried about, and I'm slowly working on her. Recently, my dad started coming to church with me. He hasn't been to church in over 40 years. Due to COVID, he started listening to my pastor's sermons as we would walk on Sunday mornings since church was closed. Then he started asking if he could come watch the sermons with us. Isn't God incredible how He works?? All I did was turn the sermon on one morning, because we were late getting back to the house and God used that moment! Then he listened to Jimmy on Joni's Table Talk talking about Tipping Point. He's been hooked ever since. I never in my life thought I would see my dad go to church with me. Thank you, Jimmy. God has used you to bless so many lives! ❤
Hi Brianna.... I LOVE what God did for your dad. He does the impossible and more than we could ever imagine. I found what I was looking for in the Tipping Point book. ha I was searching blog posts but it's actually on pg 219-221 and that chapter ends with exactly what you shared "Plan like Jesus isn't coming back for 100 yrs but like like He's coming back TODAY! Thanks so much for sharing! :)
Pastor Jimmy.... again & again unbelievably insightful article!! I'm reading it at Summer Moon with tears streaming down my face. My heart agonizes for the vulnerable & lost. Praying that each one of us boldly proclaims the gospel like we've never done before. Thank you for being a courageous voice! Also.....
One of my favorite articles you wrote "Dismantling the Family" and the spirit of Elijah returning. You shared, "we should expect a greater prophetic fulfillment of Elijah’s family-restoring ministry before Jesus returns....and second coming of an Elijah figure that prepares the way for the Lord. And he does it, in part, by restoring family values." I'd never heard anything like this before you wrote about it. "One day, our Lord will return, and “Elijah” will prepare the way with a revival of worship and family values. This is an incredible hope for the future!" WOW Can you write a post elaborating more about this incredible miracle with Elijah returning before Christ returns?!!!
Thank you Pastor Jimmy! My husband and I talked about this subject for 2 hours last night!! He’s a marriage and family pastor— and you know my dad dedicated his life to restoring marriage & family!💛 Looking forward to learning more about this supernatural miracle!
What about if you have young children? I have a 10 & 5 year old daughters. I do remember your sermon at Gateway sharing the accountability at age 13. I've been reading the Bible to them, going to church and teaching them what it means to follow Christ. However the church I was attending before Covid shies away baptizing kids bc they believed they don't fully understand what it means to follow Christ. That doesn't sit well with me. What's the best way to share the gospel with them and baptized them since there are many churches in my area (DFW) are not holding baptisms weekly/daily? I'm not afraid to do it myself, I just want to be confident knowing they're going to be with Jesus too.
Hi Alicia, I was so touched by your comment. My 3 children asked Jesus in their hearts at young ages and were also baptized at 10 yrs old. This was a personal decision the 3 of them made (ages now 27,24,13) My hubby & I loved reading Bible stories and always let them ask questions, watched Veggie Tales (a million times:) and prayed over our children that they would fall madly in love with Jesus. Letting your daughters know your story and that Jesus lives in your heart... when they want to pray too you're ready to help!! Once they know Jesus as their personal Savior.... you can check with Gateway (sounds like you've attended there) or another local church that baptizes children. (ours does) Most start at age 10, but I'm sure there's the exception. Praying for your girls and their beautiful hearts to fall in love with Jesus. Blessings
Thank you Pastor Jimmy. My question is about Rosh Hashanah. Do you think the Lord will come at any time now for His Bride, or do you lean towards the fulfillment of the up and coming Jewish Feast, Rosh Hashanah, as His timing for the Rapture of His Church? The numbers suggest that He could come any time now, but that reference to “summer” in Matthew 24 seems like He is just trying to be as clear as a bell, when to expect Him, 80 years, summer, and the next Rosh Hashanah. Like He wants us to know, but not the day or the hour; so He makes it easy as pie to understand, because He loves us, and we are His friends, same as the Disciples. Is that being too specific, or just exactly right? Also thanks for stepping it up and being so faithful in this ministry. I truly believe that in the very near future people will be paying much closer attention to what God has planned since the beginning of time. The Church is almost Home.
Love, love, love this teaching! And I love Our Heavenly Father who has so thoughtfully instilled His special individual gifts to His children for us to comfort and share with each other. I feel so loved and cherished to be alive during these times, times of trouble yes, but a time where we can clearly read God’s Word and it makes perfect sense to this generation. What was a mystery to my great grand parents is crystal clear to us now. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice and for being so patient with us all. Come Lord Jesus come!
Pastor Jimmy what about the the verse from Genesis 6:3 “then the Lord said, My spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years.” Couldn’t that also be an indicator of how long a generation might be??
Kristin, That is a great question and one I get quite often. I'm going to make my answer short here, but will follow up soon with a full article. First of all, yes this verse in Genesis 6:3 could mean that a generation is 120 years and we have forty or so years to wait for the return of Jesus. I hope it isn't true but it could be. But the main reason I don't believe that is because the average life span isn't anywhere close to 120 years and hasn't been for thousands of years. I also don't believe that the world as we know it can go that much longer. We are seeing the "distress among nations with perplexity" that Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24 plus dozens of other signs being fulfilled currently. In the article that will follow this up I will also go into another possible way to interpret Genesis 6:3 that makes more sense to me and explains the "120 years" of man's lifespan. I hope this helps.
Yes it does! Thank you for your quick response Pastor Jimmy. I’ve been thinking about that for some time and your answer makes a lot of sense and does give me some perspective. Thank you!
If the lunar year is 360 days, and it’s been 26,511 days since May 14, 1948. That means it’s been over 73.6 Jewish years since the rebirth of Israel as a nation, correct? Which would put us past the Psalm 90 understanding of a generation (if you add in the seven year tribulation). Or should we pay more attention to the gentile calendar after the death and resurrection of Christ? Or am I just completely overthinking it?
Please help me understand this. Are there unreached spots that Jesus is wait for believers to preach to before the rapture — I’m referring to Matthew 24:14
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Also, does the Temple need to be built for a third time before the rapture?
Thank you PastorJimmy. I also believe the signs of the times, they are short indeed. 'we truly need to focus on "being" a witness to those around us. Praise the Lord for His glory arising on the church more and more as we walk in our king/priest/prophetic anointing!

Lol yes! I think about that quote every day! I'm praying for the impossible for my sister now. Kari, thank you for your kind words! God bless you.
Thankyou on your comment Jimmy today i agree Jesus is soon and soon to come in the rapture...Praise God Halaluah Amen 😇🦁🐑

I’ve wondered as well if he still leans towards the feast as well. I did/do as well....but with the way things have sped up....it makes me wonder.

Can anyone comment on the Noahide Laws? I've not been able to disprove this: https://iconnectfx.com/view/9276afcc-073d-eb11-9979-00505682f257
I'm hoping someone can help me with this -- Has anyone looked at it yet? Can anyway comment on its truth or falsehood? Many thanks!
