Hi Jimmy, good post!! Back in about April and May, I had a real sense that this was not going to be an easy summer. Maybe we all did…. Guess we were right. Things have come unglued in a big hurry!! As the months go on, I would not describe the feeling so much as fear, but as a deep unsettled feeling, that discernment you get when you know that, spiritually speaking, things are not quite right. There is a war going on, and the front lines continue to get closer and closer…. It may get worse. We know that the Lord is coming, maybe tonight, as Jan Markell often says, but then we wake up again the next morning, and we are still here. I am not complaining. Not at all. The timing belongs to Him, and not us. So we wait. And we deal with that little bit of uncertainty because we know, that His timing is perfect; that anything that happens to us before He comes through the clouds to get His Bride, we can handle in His strength. Like a helicopter that will touch down in the middle of a war zone to get it’s soldiers out… He is coming. Won’t be long. And it will be in time. 🌻

Beautiful words from our beautiful Kris💛💛 I was just on Amir's Telegram watching the Iron Dome in action plus the singing from the Temple Mount was breathtaking. https://t.me/beholdisraelchannel/10517 Praying for Israel 🇮🇱 and our big wide world. Love y’all 💛

Hallelujah Kris. Wonderfully written. We are soldiers in a war zone down here. Often made fun of by the elites. Just recently a good friend who lives in Ohio told us that people in New York are actually making fun of all of the people who were devastated in this flooding. We don't know when the Lord will return, but we know the times are close because Christ told us what to look for. Love you my friend. Thank God for all of my family here on Tipping Point.

Hala… how are you sister? Any updates on your community 💛

I am truly overwhelmed with gratitude with all that God is doing for our good friend who has lost everything. Much is still needed, but I know that God will restore to him more than what he has lost. My husband and I took a drive down one of the hardest hit areas today. This road runs for about 30 miles from Breathitt County, where I live, to Perry County, the next county over. Total destruction everywhere. Homes no longer on foundations. We saw homes that had either caved in or that were totally destroyed, only debri and rubble everywhere. Truly from one end of that road to another, home after home missing, cars and trucks demolished, buried in mud or lying upside down in the creek that runs along the road. If you can, look up Hwy 476 and see if there is any pictures from anyone. You won't believe it until you see it. I have cried with sorrow for those who have lost all, cried tears of joy for our good friend who is homeless and a part of our singing ministry. God is moving in a mighty way to bring help to our community. It will be a long process because of the amount of devastation. Nothing, my friend is impossible with God. Thank you for your concern and most of for your prayers. The prayers have reached the throne room of heaven.

Hala thank you for this update on your community— it breaks our hearts watching the devastation but praying the church can wrap around and help restore. Praying for you ….💛

Hi Kris. I was reading my daily Bible this morning before Church. Just to share with you; Romans 8:23: We ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons(daughters), the redemption of our body. Enjoy your day and your week be filled with God’s love and Grace as we wait for our soon coming King. 💜

Kris,

Where you say, "anything that happens to us before He comes through the clouds to get His Bride, we can handle in His strength." Amen:) Would that include the 70th week of Daniel?

Expand full comment

Hi slamdunk, that would make you a post-tribulation believer. I do not believe the Church is going through the tribulation, if that is what you are referring to, so it is a bit of a mute question. I believe, along with the majority of other pre-tribulation believers on this site, that we are going to be raptured before the tribulation begins. But if you go through the tribulation…. yes, a promise is a promise, you can do all things through Him who strengthens you. Have a good Sunday! 🌻

Expand full comment

Amen!!!! You are always kind & straightforward— We can do all things through Him who strengthens us. Praise God we won’t be here for the 7 most horrific years in history but with our Groom! 💛

Expand full comment

Hi Kris,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think Christians ought to keep an open mind on this since there are no scriptures that actually say the church goes up before the 70th week of Daniel. Yet, it would be comforting to know that Jesus will keep the church out of it. But as you rightly say, God would provide the grace and strength to endure to the end of our lives as those saints in Heb. 11:37. We have it pretty soft here in America, but many of our brothers and sisters in the Middle East and Africa aren't so blessed.

Lord bless

Expand full comment

So true. Persecution has always been around, but it will increase for sure. The Saints cry out for the end. 🌻

Expand full comment

And we should cry out for the grace and strength to endure to the end, whatever may come. The word says the church is not appointed to wrath, tribulation yes, but not wrath.

Hey Slamdunk! A couple years back I had never studied eschatology (end-times theology) but developed a keen interest to personally study scripture on the topic to draw my own conclusions, and then study various scholar opinions to see what lined up. The study of Biblical end times prophecy is a daunting task because prophecy, particularly around the 2nd coming, is contained in soooo many books of the OT & NT, and it's easy to read one or even a few verses independent of the body of prophecy text and draw a false conclusion. Long story short, I started my year+ long Bible eschatology study being post-trib, and finished up believing a pre-trib rapture is most clearly taught in the full body of text. Here's a video I think that analyses the Biblical arguments for pre, mid, post, etc pretty well and summarizes some of the major points for pre-trib:

https://youtu.be/wdufyUUfRmk

One summary point is that the Bible clearly teaches the rapture/harpazo/rapturo is imminent (can happen at any second and doesnt require any signs/warning) and will catch the world and even most believers with great surprise (besides the bevy of pre-70th week general signs discussed heavily on TP that are actually signs of the 2nd coming moreso than rapture), but the events in the 70th week will rock the world so heavily that all believers would fully know the end had begun, such that the doctrine of imminency of the rapture is destroyed by adopting the post-trib, mid-trib, pre-wrath, etc views. Truly for any Bible studiers left on the planet during the great trib, they should just about be able to pinpoint the 2nd coming to nearly the day.

All things considered I don't think this should be a dividing point for believers as it doesn't relate to salvation. However, I've concluded that the best option is to live like a pre-trib'er treating the time like it is extremely short and redeeming the time to be overt in your faith, sharing the gospel with purpose and drive. I REALLLYYY don't want my family, friends, coworkers etc to have to live through the great tribulation bc I hadn't been faithful and diligent to share Christ with them as commanded... For me personally, realizing that the Bible teaches pre-trib has been revolutionary to my faith and my dedication to sharing the gospel, because I sincerely believe Jesus could and very well may call us home any second and I want to have as few regrets as possible. However, I've also resolved that if I and many others have somehow misinterpreted scripture and we're destined to go through Daniel's 70th week, that I'm prepared to die for the name of Christ and to be a light during the worst time in world history. Hope this is helpful to you. Much love and MARANATHA!!!!

Being one who is anxious and, dare I say somewhat stressed by nature, I can’t begin to tell you how much peace has come into my life over the last few months since I’ve been reading and listening to yours, Mark’s, Greg’s and Jonathan’s Bible end times prophecy teachings.

You are all a gift from God to me and I thank Him DAILY for that.

Thanks so much 🙏😊

Ted, I relate, and so appreciate Jimmy’s gift of encouragement and grateful that he has made a positive difference to you, as well as to me.

Absolutely. I stumbled onto Tipping point quite by accident. I’ve never been into the prophecy thing - heard too many so called ‘prophets’ in the past yelling out a lot of what I consider wishful thinking. But the teachings of Jimmy Mark Greg and Jonathan is Bible based and well researched.and that means everything to me.

Brother Ted,

"Be not anxious for anything, but in prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your heart s and minds in Christ Jesus." (Phil. 4:6,7)

Pastors Jimmy, Mark, and Greg really do bring a lot of comfort don't they? The person I love the most in this world is completely opposite of me and she has a tendency to really think things deeply and consider every "what if?" That isn't a bad thing at all and I LOVE that part about her because she has saved my butt so many times! But when it comes to the rapture and what's going on in the world, I tell her like this:

"Look, the worst that will happen is that you will continue to worry yourself loony until POOF! 💨 And you're gonna be like "What the...", then Jesus is going to look you right in the eyes and say "I told you so".

Even the worst case scenario is still a blessing, although the anxiety and worry does limit our enjoyment in this life. I love these 3 teachers, and this community too!

Jennifer, when my mother-in-love was nearing the end of her battle with Alzheimer's disease she did not respond to conversation but she would to music. When her son and I sang this song her eyes would light up as we paused after the words, "Soon and very soon we are going to see the ... she would shout out King!" The nurses were amazed. She has been with her King over 35 years. To be so expectant of seeing my King upon the rapture of His Bride my heart yearns to see loved ones that have been with Him all these years. On the other hand my heart aches for loved ones and friends here on earth that have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Knowing they face the tribulation makes the rapture bittersweet for me. BUT GOD in His mercy and grace will knock on the door of their hearts even louder inviting them

to be part of the end time harvest of souls! Holy Spirit help them to answer the door so that eternity with God will be theirs too.

I thought about that recently too, Chris! It’s both, the beginning AND the end! Like how, in the same sense, we can be going through the worst of times while going through the best of times, too. So exciting to think... one day, it will *always* be the best of times!

Here’s something interesting I just learned! Jesus says He’s the First & the Last, which means the 1st sign & the last sign; of the constellations!

The First, being Virgo and that’s because Jesus was born from a virgin. The Last, being Leo and that’s because Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!

I love that! Thanks for sharing.

I always like that part about Jesus being the Lion because I am a Leo. I certainly do not believe anything about astrology or any of that, but I still think it's neat. It always makes me think about 2 Thess. 2:8 where Jesus will "slay him with the breath of his mouth". I can't wait to hear that roar. I'm going to roar with him, although mine will probably sound like a squeek. 😯

I’m learning from a star study by Mark Correll (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwBYVWH2QxfRlClUueAgQzKJpp6QX5IGv) and it’s mind-blowing, seeing the true meaning of the signs, which ALL have to do with Jesus.

Figures the devil would try to twist it, making astrology instead of astronomy; all about us & none about Him!

As a kid, I use to think of how ridiculous people from the Old Testament were to consult/worship the stars...realizing later, that’s astrology & I had been guilty of it too, without even knowing!! 😬

(I’ve found the Myers Brigg Personality Test to be far more accurate, anyways.)

lol 🦁 Your roar will be just fine! Louder and more fierce than it’s ever been, thanks to being part of the Body of Christ! What a day that will be, indeed! It’s already feeling surreal- I’m cherishing every moment, now.

Oh the dreams I have been given by Father God that point to His return (in the clouds). One was just settled for me in a comment Kris made “things are not quite right” and the dream’s meaning was made clearer. (BTW this is the first time I have seen comments on here.) A brief overview of it was a sea was tipped on its side and flowing rapidly backwards. Things were not quite right. There WAS an ending to it though and I saw the end (of this sea). There was much more but I just wanted to share the “not quite right” part.

Hi Lisa, thanks for the post. I was reflecting on your dream this morning. Scripture does say in Revelation 21:1, that there will no longer be any sea, when we get to the New Heavens and New Earth. We might wonder how God would do that, perhaps “tip it on it’s side” in a way that only He could do, and drain the pool.... That sounds, not quite right to us now, in one sense, because it is not time yet. But it will be time soon. Dreams often gave the OT Prophets, the future. Amazing what God can show us, if He is working through us in that way. You say this is your first post? Welcome aboard! Tell us more. We are listening.... 🌻

Thank you for that Kris. These are some highlights I made from the dream. It is still vivid to me.

I was standing behind a plate glass window (there was a big open room with windows on the entire side of it ) looking out onto what I thought was a mountainside. It was actually a deep blue sea on its side. The water was flowing from right to left. There were small, white waves that peaked about a foot to a foot and a half high (again on their side). I felt “Alaska” (I lived there 10 years).

I walked toward the left and the sea became a massive petrified tree stump - again on it’s side. There was a system of gnarled tree roots visible. (Once I walked left I was no longer behind the glass.)
