From Jerusalem, I report on Israel's stunning “Operation Rising Lion” launched Thursday morning against Iran's nuclear program—a masterful deception that lulled Iranian leadership into false security. More than 200 Israeli aircraft dropped 330 bombs on 200 targets across Iran while Mossad agents used smuggled drones to sabotage air defenses and provided precise targeting information. Most remarkably, Israeli agents assassinated key Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists in their sleep, dramatically slowing Iran's counterattack capability. Prime Minister Netanyahu declared Israel struck “at the heart of Iran's nuclear enrichment program” and ballistic missile facilities, emphasizing that Iran has enough uranium for nine nuclear weapons and plans 10,000 ballistic missiles within three years. Despite wave after wave of Iranian missile attacks killing about a dozen Israelis, Israel maintains total air superiority over Iran. As military expert John Spencer notes, this unprecedented campaign—from leadership decapitation to achieving dominance over a larger nation--shows “the God of Israel is fighting for his unique chosen human family.”
