I’m so grateful I hear or read others like you Esther say they are uncomfortable in this world and are ready to go home. I feel that more and more every day. Physically, mentally and even spiritually at times, it feels like I’m holding on with all I have while we wait. Having a community of born again believers to hold on together with sure helps. Thank you for encouraging me. God bless you!
Hi Art…Always nice to hear from you. Yes sir, I am no longer attached to this world. Recently, my husband has been building a pavilion and it’s always my job to be the gofer. As I hand him the roofing material I find my gaze and thoughts are always to the heavens. I don’t care about “stuff” anymore. I love our Lord so much!!! Nothing compares to him. I love the song that says take this whole world but give me Jesus.
Yep, this world/nature is a beautiful creation, but pales in comparison to the Creator and His love!✝️😍 So excited! It's like being a little kid again waiting for Christmas morning (times one million)!😂
Hi Miss Esther. So good to get to login and see you as the first comment that came up. I sure know what you mean. Praying that you are doing well. I feel so out of touch with everyone's lives right now because I have been unable to keep up with the comments but I am still getting back there.
Hi Steve…miss your wit and spiritual knowledge!!! Don’t stay away so long. I’ve never had or seen such evil attacks on my family as now. I’m thankful I’m rooted and my foundation is in Jesus Christ cause I could see why many fall by the wayside. Outside of this site my spirit is still and my voice is silent. I understand the scripture ..,groanings that cannot be uttered.
I pray constantly for the family of God everywhere and that includes you my friend. Keep the faith and looking upward!!!
Aww man, thank you! That really does mean so much to me. What a "coincidence" that you mentioned bein "rooted" because that has been the word God has placed on my heart the last month or so, and was also the name of our series today at church! My pastor was talking about how important it is for us to not just come to church, but to be rooted..."I want you to be so firmly rooted in a church that if you left it would pull up roots."
...I'm happy you're not going anywhere till we all do together because that would leave one big hole in the ground here.
Happy Sunday TP family… I got this text last night from my son. Wow was I encouraged. I asked him if I could share w y’all too. (his little sister Z gave him one of her ‘what would Jesus do’ bracelets) ….“I love this WWJD bracelet. Been such a healthy reminder this week. I felt like the word from the Lord has been “keep your eyes on the prize” since Wednesday. Lots of enemy distraction techniques. Working up, looking up and forward!”
It’s pretty amazing when your kids point you to the cross.🙏💛 I bought a new batch of WWJD & ‘Jesus loves you’ rubber bracelets on Amazon. My kids wear them and so do I…. I give them out all the time to people. It’s a great tool to share the good news.
Wow, what a wonderful idea and that it came from your children makes it even more special!! I guess I will have to go shopping on Amazon and thanks for the tip.
Also-thank you Pastor Jimmy for a wonderful message. Looking up and waiting for His return. Come quickly Lord Jesus!! :)
Feast of Trumpets happens this week! I know we can’t know the day or hour, but He told us to be ready! We are ready Jesus! We can’t wait to see You face to face! Wouldn’t it be awesome if the rapture happened this week?! I feel like a kid on Christmas morning (best gift of a lifetime!) ✝️♥️
Amen Teresa! Evil is no longer hiding. It’s in plain sight with all its pride and arrogance. Daring anyone to challenge it. I keep remembering Psalm 2. “God laughs”!!
Now this is good news! Face to face with Jesus and Ohhh so close we are! No more sin nature (I would say “flesh” as we we are already new creatures in Christ, made possible by the deposit of the Holy Spirit in us, and it is really our flesh patterns that get us in trouble even after we get Saved until we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb). But none the less, we are Heaven bound! And when we get to Heaven everything will change! Now a glass darkly, but then face to face forever!! What a great Sunday post! Onward in Victory until He comes!! 🌺
That song was Beautiful. Beyond Beautiful. Maybe just beyond…. Incredible, she’s got it. The rest of the story. In the City of God. She’s going to lead the worship one day, in that City. Thanks for sharing friend. 🌺
Sis… I had a dream once I was with Steffany singing with her on the stage! I will never forget the JOY I had singing my heart out! She told me … beautiful job Kari! 🎶 lol I got to hear her live in Dallas😭🙌🏽
That is super fun! Just a dry run to when she runs the worship stage in Heaven. Can you imagine? And Jesus will join in! He will swing us all around and then sing His own new song that we can sing, to Him!!! 🌺
So beautiful…thank you so much for your faithfulness in teaching us about God. I stumbled across this ministry a few months back. I didn’t know anything about end times prophecy. But after hearing just 1 of your lessons, I developed a passion to know more. Now, I have not only a better understanding of the exciting events to soon happen, but my relationship w/God has blossomed (God’s Word makes so much more sense now!). I am so grateful to this ministry & to God for leading me down this path.
Same here Meg! I became a TP member just a few months ago but discovered Pastor Jimmy in 2020- if it hadn’t been for him I probably would’ve gone down a very different path. As a nurse I was dealing with all the Covid anxiety. I didn’t realize it but I was looking at the New Age movement and almost got pulled into that. Then I saw Pastor Jimmy on YouTube talking about eschatology and I read Revelation for the first time and have never looked back. I have such a thirst for the Word. I read my NIV Study Bible from cover to cover last year with the assistance of a Bible app. I still can’t believe I accomplished that. I just dedicated everyday to reading His Word and it has made all the difference. My next step is to go to Church and be baptized.
So glad you are here, Meg! I have been away from commenting as often as usual for the last few months but I always get excited reading these things and reliving that same moment when God opened the eyes of my heart through these pastors and our TP Family!
Amen. David in Psalm 17:15 said that he would behold the face of the Lord and be satisfied with his likeness. What a glorious future we have and all because of Jesus great love and his sacrifice for us. Even so come Lord Jesus. Thanks for this reminder of that coming day when all things will be made new.
I was reading Revelations Chapter 4 and 5 yesterday.
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”
It was so exciting to be reading an account where we (the saints, born again believers) are there in the throne room. Witnessing what John is describing in the “hereafter”. Watching our King Jesus open the 7 seals.
It became so real as I kept reading. Imagining the vision John saw. Thinking, “Wow”, we will be there.
The Bible is so alive today for me. It has all my current news and things to come soon. Seems like just about all the news I hear thru different pastors and bible teachers just confirms I’m holding on to the only truth that matters.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
John 1:1-5 KJV
Our Bible. The Word. Praise God, Hallelujah! You are worthy of all praise, honor and power. King Jesus. Maranatha!! M
My sentiments exactly! I also get so excited to read His Word now! I just finished studying Revelation again (I'm now on Daniel again). I see everything differently as I read His Word. Although I am so excited about the thought of being with Jesus forever (and no pain, worries, etc), but there are times that I just start crying to think about those who will be left behind. It will be so awful for them. For those of us who know Him, we should try to do something every day to share God's love with others. It's not easy, but the Holy Spirit will help us.
Just to share (in case someone else might want to do this too), I texted 12 people (family & friends) and told them I was going to do a "walk through the bible" every day through a YouTube Channel called "Bible Project." This channel offers a summary of each book of the bible in 6-8 minutes (with some amazing artwork as they tell the story); I cannot stress how awesome these recaps are...so I encourage everyone to check this channel out. I initially asked the group if they do NOT want me to send these to them each day, to let me know. I didn't get any "no's," so I've been sending these summaries to all 12 people each morning; we are now almost through the Old Testament. I'm pretty certain that many don't listen/watch these summaries, but some have contacted me to talk with me about the bible. It really has been such a blessing (thank you, Lord!). Just a thought, in case anyone wants to try this with friends/loved ones too :-)
So awesome that you chose 12 specifically, Meg! At our church, we always ask "Who are your 12 that you connect with the most?" It kind of mirrors Jesus, huh?
I remember the first time I heard about The Bible Project was right here when Anna Lesch mentioned it I think...LOVE it!
That’s a great idea Meg! I had a friend show me that site a couple years ago- watched a few episodes, it’s really good. I share my daily devotionals on FB but I don’t know how many of my friends/family actually read them. All I can do is keep sharing The Good News. 💜
Art, maybe He will come this week sometime during the Feast of the Trumpets! Who knows?! it could happen! Let's keep looking up! Maybe we'll all be together soon! If not this week. Next week or the week after! I remember a song from years ago that said "I wish we'd all been ready"! I know we all have loved ones and friends who aren't ready but hopefully soon after the rapture, they'll get ready!!
Maybe!!!! Whenever it happens it will be perfect! We will also understand why it didn’t happen before or after. We will see God’s perfect timing and I will probably just be speechless…. Filled with so much joy and thankfulness. Praising our King Jesus!!
In my prayers last night, I mentioned to Jesus how excited I am to know that he could return soon. I know even Jesus does not know, or the Holy Spirit , the day of his return. Only our Father GOD in heaven knows of this time.
Yet, reading in scriptures and You. Tube has the books of the Bible that are narrated. I enjoy that type of communication also.
Any type of hearing the Bible in the exact words in the Bible is a blessing.
Watching all the changes in the world right now, is just plain truth coming out of God's Bible.
I think Jesus is also excited to return and receive his people that have followed him with love and trust. As we remain faithful in Christ Jesus, we remain full of the Trust Jesus has taught us. Anxious for the Holy Spirit to guide us through another day.
It's hard to swallow when we "think" we knew someone and it turns out not to be the case. The spouse, son, daughter, relative, friend, co-worker is caught up in something that we had no idea of or is pretending in some way. I have a cousin that married a woman several years ago... about a year into the marriage the FBI showed up on his doorstep... she was involved in a serious money laundering ring. Shocked him to the core. So looking forward to heaven! Maranatha!
My kids walked out of my life 19 years ago, so when I just read where Jimmy said when Jesus comes we will get everything back, my heart jumped with joy! Come Jesus Come!
Just a short message to say hello as I have a minute between moderating today's services. I'm getting excited about the conference in SIX DAYS! Can't wait to finally meet so many for the first time, and I'm carrying a backpack of hugs!
I have been MIA last week or so! Me and Chase my son are so excited to be coming back this year! I have saved my airline miles all year! Last year we roamed around during breaks desperately trying to find folks that we talk to on here until we finally found Kari! I hope to see all of you this conference, even better if it’s in the air! I honestly can’t believe it’s been a year or that we are still here. Praying for safe and smooth travels for all that are attending. Hugs!
Mel, THANK you for reminding me about connecting with everyone during the conference next weekend! Back in March, I created a Telegram channel for anyone who wanted to, to join and use during the conference to communicate as to where they were or that we could maybe meet. I tried to secure a room within the church but never received a call back.
Thank you for the reminder as I am going to post this on each post this week so that nobody misses it, in hopes it will help. If it flops, then we at least tried, right?
And thank you for the prayers which I am returning for everyone as well. Hope I get to meet you!
For anyone who sees this and wishes to join the Telegram channel for the conference, please go to https://t.me/+FE2DujhMLWZkNTgx
Reading my devotions this morning: It’s getting more and more uncomfortable being comfortable in this world.
I’m homesick. Nothing in this world entices me. I long to be with our Heavenly Father.
Another encouraging post Pastor Evans.
Thank you ❣️

Hi Art, I emailed you :)
Just replied!! Thanks!!
Yes, Esther, me too. Each day I seem to find something else that makes me like this world even less. I don't "fit in here."
♥️😥♥️
Hi Miss Esther. So good to get to login and see you as the first comment that came up. I sure know what you mean. Praying that you are doing well. I feel so out of touch with everyone's lives right now because I have been unable to keep up with the comments but I am still getting back there.
I needed this encouragement from PJimmy too.

And, he texted me last night BEFORE this post came out! I love how God speaks to His children.
I know that makes you proud because that means Michael is LISTENING to His voice!
Your son: keep you eyes on the prize. Then Pastor Jimmy: the biggest prize of all. Coincidence? I don’t think so!
I’m deeply blessed how much my children love Jesus and as they grow in their faith learning how to listen to His voice is life-breathing! 🔥💛

I agree! I’m addicted to his teachings! I can’t get enough! Grew up in church but never taught Revelation!
So glad you are here, Meg! I have been away from commenting as often as usual for the last few months but I always get excited reading these things and reliving that same moment when God opened the eyes of my heart through these pastors and our TP Family!

My goodness what a shock to your friend. I pray the blood of Jesus upon him. Peace be his.
Man, David, that one hit home for me too. The story sounds almost identical, and it's heartbreaking.
It was and he's recovered from it. He's a pretty shrewd dude... she was quite the actress.
My kids walked out of my life 19 years ago, so when I just read where Jimmy said when Jesus comes we will get everything back, my heart jumped with joy! Come Jesus Come!
Thanks again Pastor. Again reading this with tears of joy and longing to see Jesus face to face
Look up- For Our Redemption is drawing very nigh into US....Praise the name of the Lord

Watch for the Jewish fall festivals- specifically Rosh Hashannah( Feast of Trumpets ) Even so- come quickly Lord Jesus
