Couldn't agree more with this timeline (as the Lord showed me this 6000 year -120x 50 also). I am watching the Jewish calendar, which just started year 5781 in September 18 2020. (Jewish Calendar for 5781 AM 5781 began at sunset on 18 September 2020 and will end at sunset on 6 September 2021.) Not sure whether the 19 remaining years per the Hebrew calendar (to get to 6000) will include/exclude the 7 year tribulation period or not (I currently think the 19 years remaining include those 7 years) I thought from my studies and that the count down to the Lords return (Daniels weeks, Messiah cut off etc.) indicated a tribulation period beginning around 2029-2030. But that wouldn't jive slightly with the Hebrew calendar by a year or two. I'm reading a wonderful book right now called the Chronological gospels by Micheal Rood and others. This book links every day of Christ ministry (as reported in each gospel to the Festivals weeks, which occurred during our Lord's 70 week ministry period in amazing detail, in fulfilment of prophecy. God will fulfill everything according to His calendar ( e.g. the Festivals, jubilees and et al.) Love and peace in the Lord. The time is short let us buy oil for our Lamps and watch for His return.
Pastor Jimmy... love that you read our comments, engage and share new topics from your reader's questions! I'm especially looking forward to reading more about the spirit of Elijah and his return. ;) It's fascinating!! This past weekend I was talking to some friends about Tipping Point and they mentioned to me that in Brian Simmon's TPT (I believe this is not a translation, but a paraphrase/interpretation) Simmons states that the rapture, tribulation, Second Coming, millennium, or antichrist is not mentioned in Revelation. In the translations I personally read (NKJV, ESV, NLT) those words are there. I didn't have a heated discussion, but I definitely felt something was off, especially studying end times with you & reading your book. Simmons also shares we should not be a pan-millennialist or escapist, but a triumphalist (def: the next thing on God's timetable is NOT a rapture--it's an unveiling of sons and daughters.) That sounded wonky to me and I'd love your personal thoughts on this to gain wisdom & understanding.
I forgot to add .... Simmons also states that the "great tribulation" is a phrase only used for believing ones, not a term for the unbelievers. (no clue what that means) and that the Second coming has already taken place. Again, would love to hear your thoughts.
Hey Kari, Let me explain two terms to you that I think will help. The first is "preterist". This is the belief that end times prophecy was fulfilled in the first century when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Some preterists believe the end was fulfilled in the fifth century when Rome fell. But the main point of preterism is that they look at prophecy in the rear view mirror rather than through the windshield. That might explain why Simmons believes the Second Coming has already occurred. Another term to understand is amillennialism. Of course, the millennium is the one thousand year rule of Jesus on the earth along with His wife, the Church. I am a pre-millennialist. I believe Jesus will physically return to the earth before the millennium and rule the earth with the Church. Amillennialists believe Jesus won't physically return until the end of the millennium. Many of them believe that in the millennium the Church will become the perfected Body of Christ and the sons and daughters of God will become manifested and rule the earth. This is sometimes called "Dominion Theology" or "Kingdom Now" theology. They allegorize huge texts of end times Scripture rather than taking them literally. This is where they make their mistakes. The Bible never says the church will take dominion over the earth before the return of Jesus. Quite the opposite, in Luke 17 Jesus says when He returns it will be like in the days when He rescued Lot and Noah from a corrupted and evil generation. So suffice to say that I don't agree with Simmons and you are right to push back on the preterist and ammillennial nonsense. Thanks for your question and Merry Christmas!
Oh Kari, you have asked the exact right question at the exact right time. Having grown up Catholic, I had to dig myself out of the quagmire of very bad end times theology only to find out that a good portion of the American Church believed a lot of the same things! It was depressing. I am very grateful to Simmons and Company as they have made an enormous contribution to the Body of Christ. We should all be friends. But they have taken The Bride of Christ down a bunny trail that has left Her in the dark with respect to what is going on in the world today, and for this final generation! The time is now! The Church would like to know! The Key is the Bible. And as Martin Luther strongly suggested, when you read it for yourself you can’t help but notice that the Bible has a lot to say about end times, even from Jesus. I pray to God that Pastor Jimmy gives you a straight, clear answer to this question for all our sakes. And I mean all our sakes....
Yes he did!! The Lord has equip him well! I see it as almost a form of deception when these folks come along and start pulling things from the Bible about end times that are so obviously off the beaten track! We need to be able to show them from the Scriptures what Truth is so they too will be ready for the Bridegroom when He comes! A New Years Resolution perhaps? A little bit can go a long way... One of my favorites Luke 21:25-28 :)
I'm trying to understand this better. I posted this on an earlier post. Is there anyway you could explain this?
If the lunar year is 360 days, and it’s been 26,511 days since May 14, 1948. That means it’s been over 73.6 Jewish years since the rebirth of Israel as a nation, correct? Which would put us past the Psalm 90 understanding of a generation (if you add in the seven year tribulation). Or should we pay more attention to the gentile calendar after the death and resurrection of Christ? Or am I just completely overthinking it?
Good question Daniel! And you aren't overthinking it. Psalm 90 tells us that a generation can be 70 or 80 years. We are past the 70 mark as you noted and when you add 7 years for the Tribulation we are very near or even at the 80 year point. That is why my Tipping Point book is subtitled, "The End is Here". I don't set dates, but like like you I do the math and it is exciting to say the least!
I think I may have asked before, if so, I apologize for asking again. But out of curiosity...if May will be Israel’s 73 birthday (so 73+7=80), I know you have in the past believed the rapture could occur at the Feast of Trumpets, but that will be past 80 years by a little bit. Just curiously wondering your thoughts on still thinking it will occur on some future FOT?
Brittney, I strongly believe the Rapture will happen on some Feast of Trumpets. And yes, if you take 73 years in 2021 and add 7 years for the Tribulation it is 80 and the FOT will be a bit past that. I'm not fixated on exact numbers related to the fulfillment of a generation. But I'm very fixated on the season we are in. I believe we are living in the end of the end times and Jesus is coming very soon. Thanks for the question!
Oh lovely, hadn't heard the 120 Jubilees theory before. It meshes nicely with the thousand year/day interpretation.
Incidentally, I was reading very recently about Jeanne Calment. Apparently after she died some people got suspicious and started really digging into her life. It would seem that her daughter may have assumed her identity in order to claim benefits, and that her supposed 122 year lifespan was fraudulent. There is a variety of pro/con material on the internet, but sorting it all out might not prove very fruitful. A lot of fun, though :-)
Blessings to you, as you have been a great blessing to me.
I am struggling to understand this end time timeline. Prophet Jeff Jansen is a very anointed prophet and he believes that the lord is giving us 24 more years of gods grace. If you could look into this and tell us what you think about it I would really appreciate it. I know we shouldnt believe any specific timeline. I think perhaps I misunderstood the context of this 24 year grace. I dont want to discredit his anointing but so much extra time does confuse me considering that would make it 96 years total from when Isreal was reestablished to the end of his timeline. Thank you for your help.
Sonja, I'm not familiar with Jeff Jansen but I am resistant to anyone who has a private interpretation to explain the end times. 2 Peter 1:20-21 says, "knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." Scripture interprets prophecy - not any individual, including myself. So I don't want to disrespect Jeff Jansen or anyone else, but I believe Scripture makes it clear that one generation will see all end times events fulfilled and Psalm 90 makes it clear that a generation is between 70 or 80 years long. That is my personal belief. Thanks for the question and I hope this helps.
Thank you for going into this subject in more detail. Could it be the message Bible was on point (I know it’s an interpretation Bible) when the author referenced how God breathed his life into Adam and Eve... and that eventually He will stop breathing his life into creation and that’s why our lifespan will be shorter? I’ve often thought about that. Even though the actual Bible only references Adam and Eve being made by God... there had to have been more people formed from the earth, otherwise who would Seth have married?

I personally believe that the day of the Lord could take place on Pentecost 2028.
The state of Israel will be 80 years old on May 14, 2028
Pentecost that year will be on 31May-1June, 2028.
I am not setting a date for the coming of the Lord. Those two days represent Pentecost.

I always understood Gen 6:3 to mean it was 120 years from the command to build the ark until the flood. So it took Noah 120 years to build it.
Thank you for this I love learning bible prophecy about the end times! Read your book in a matter of days!
