I cannot put into words how grateful I am for this ministry and my Tipping Point Family. I have made so many beautiful and strong connections with folks from here that are more of a family to me than many of my own biological family. As PJimmy has said numerous times, "They say blood is thicker than water, but spiritual family is stronger than earthly family." Those words may not be his exact saying but they still speak to the truth of those words!
***How Important is it to Stay Connected to TP Daily?***
---It means the difference between “life and death” to me…
Since the summer, I have been going through a season of attacks and vulnerability to where I began listening to and believing the words of the enemy at times. This happened because I allowed that noise to pull me away from my daily interactions in commenting and interacting right here in the TP community. I still read and listened to the material, but it was always as I was driving or running to and fro because I allowed life to pull me from the intentional time I devoted daily to reading each comment and responding, and my life fell apart as a result. God used it to help me realize just how much I need this, and each of you, along with my intentional and daily time with Him in His Word, of course.
***How Does God Use TP Bless Others Through Me?***
A precious friend of mine lost her mother to a long battle yesterday at Christmas. Her Mama was a strong Christian. This friend stated “Steve, I hate speaking in front of people, but I have to get up and speak about my Mama and I don’t know what to say. I wish you were here to because we would want you to do her service. Will you help me write something?” Knowing that her Mama was a strong believer and loves Jesus makes this so easy for me to do, but almost the entirety of that comes from what I have learned right here in TP over these few short years. Everything I need is right here, and I can’t put into words how grateful I am for that.
Thank you Pastor’s Jimmy and Mark, and every contributor to TP. But most of all, I want to thank each person who is in our TP Family and comments here…the blessings I get from you are immeasurable. Merry Christmas and praying for a wonderful, and “rapturing” New Year!

A believer’s passing is more of a graduation. A dear brother in my men’s group passed away recently. I was asked to share a few words. What an honor. Knowing my brother was escorted to Heaven by Jesus himself. There was so much joy at the memorial. We all knew our brother was with the Lord. I want to share a conversation I had with him a few days before he past. So amazing. We need to catch up soon. Love you brother Steve and your horse named “Mud”.

I do not think that God looks at our lives the way we do. We look at all the years of waste before we discovered God, discovered what our time here on earth is really all about. My life, so many wasted years of thinking it was all about our jobs, just getting ahead and staying ahead which does not leave very much, if any, time for God in our lives. But, one day, God grabbed me and my husband and began to pull us to church, where we discovered a whole new life, and a different kind of people, who over the years now have become our very best friends. I find that my life before was really not a waste, but instead a time that God was building for me a testimony and a witness to His amazing goodness. I now serve in jail ministry, and also a board member for a recovery ranch. God is amazing, the way He uses all our faults, all our deepest shame and regrets, turning them into a work of art to be used to His Glory! Only look forward to what is next in your life for you to give God the Glory! Time is wasting away!
