I needed this today as it inspires me to repent and get back to sharing Jesus with others no matter what the sacrifice. For Christ's sake, I need to let go of my fear and worry about what others will think of me if I post or share. Letting go of the world is easy after reading your post but as you wrote, it is harder to stay enflamed with the burning passion 24/7/365 due to the world's pressures. Good things happen to those who wait. I believe that great things will happen to us who wait. I believe that what we are experiencing now is just making us more aware of the good things to come, as ww wait in anticipation. This is our opportunity to get even closer to God and his word. We have to continue praying, not give up, because the bible promises us a wonderful end to all this insanity. So brothers and sisters let's stay focused on God and let's continue praying. I wanted to first send out a thank you to all you moms out there. Your sacrifices, love, caring and wisdom are such a gift from God and the Holy Spirit. I know most of us men would find ourselves in a lot more frequent self-inflicted disasters, if not for mom's heart and voice in the background. Such a timely message as we labor under in a world filled with the weight of evil. The messages to some of the churches in Revelation often feel so written to us, in our times. The things to watch against and the encouragements. That He knows us and our deeds. And to hang on, not lose hope, to endure and receive our crowns. It feels like the last part of a marathon now. God bless you all today.
I love this. The timing for this message couldn't be more appropriate, and I think it is just tangible proof that Pastor Jimmy does read our messages here just like he said he does because the messages always seem to follow discussions we have had in our previous discussions here. And of course, the Holy Spirit leads it all.
I think we all have those moments where we feel like we are distant from God, regardless of how much we pray and lean-in. But it's at those times that I also remember that the closer we draw near to Him, the stronger the enemy attacks. I've learned that when those times come, the immediate fix is:
1. Pray. For the situation and others.
2. Scripture. I have to talk and listen to Him.
3. Fellowship. Whether in-person at church, praying with someone, or even just reading and responding to others here on TP, I know that what and who I surround myself with is key.
I know it sounds selfish, but I want those blessings that come with serving and blessing others, and I know the best way to fix my own problems is to get out of my own problems and into the problems of someone else by praying for and with them.

This is how I’ve been feeling. My spark is still there however. I pray, read, etc. I just resonated with the losing hope part. I was so hopeful last year. And now it just seems so much more unlikely to me.
I'm heartbroken that my daughter and her family have fallen away from God. I am anxiously awaiting the rapture, but am also hoping and praying that they will return to their first love. Is it this generation they're in because my siblings are experiencing the same thing with their kids? I'm reading Billy Crone's book on UFO's. Very eye-opening!
I've been battling a number of feelings since March of 2020. I think sharing the faith is the answer. I watch a lot of Ray Comfort's Living Waters on YouTube. Very encouraging about his methods of simplifying the message and bringing people to a decision. I want to be hugely more effective in witnessing and studying more. Thank God for this resource and many others! God's blessing is all around us still even as Time on our earth is finishing up! God bless you and thank God for the freedom and liberty we still yet have! Lord help us to redeem the time! (That remains). Jehovah Jireh our provider! Bless every one of you!
