Thank you, Pastor Jimmy. Our hearts are broken for these families, but as you said, God has them in his arms I pray for each and every person is touched by this horrific devastation! Praying for all the first responders and volunteers, thanking God for their presence! I can’t even imagine the pain the suffering just not knowing why. I just have a vision of the kids dancing with Jesus.

As we all are experiencing the challenges of this world in such a time as this, we continue to hear of these disasters and difficulties that people are facing around the world and every day we find ourselves saying “ this is unbelievable!” We know that God has told us these things would happen, and we also know that this will only get worse. We need to be on our knees daily to pray for the families that are suffering and that Yeshua Jesus will come soon and get his bride!! My heart is broken for these mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters who lost their loved ones and also pray that the Lord will give them hope and peace like only He can!! We are so thankful that you and your family were able to make it home safely!! Through all of the tragedy and pain we can still sing “GOD IS GOOD!!”

I am thinking of Isaiah 65:4

“And it shall come to pass that before they call I will answer and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”

As a mother and grandmother my heart aches for those families whose children are still missing. Holy Spirit You are the comforter and I ask You to do what only You can. So many have lost loved ones to this terrible flood. Help them as they grieve in their loss. Please send Your Word to the rains that continue to inundate the areas to cease.

Protect all first responders and volunteers as they love on these families. May You oh God heal the brokenhearted and give great stamina to all that have come and will continue to come along side those in great need. May your people bless these needs with prayer and monetary giving.

Our hearts are crushed by this! Thank You Jimmy for keeping us informed. i have update after update coming to my face book page. News of the names of the ones who were there. Some who have been found, others who didn't make it. My heart hurts so much. I have prayed and cried out to God for those who are hurting so much. This reminds me so much of the devastating flooding that hit here in Breathitt County back in 2022.

So very sorry to hear of this massive disaster. We had something like this just 6 weeks ago in Australia. Whole towns washed away. Thankfully not the loss of life you have experienced but still devastating where homes and livelihoods and stock lost. Praying... from the southern hemisphere.

Well I guess I’ll address the elephant in the room I know everybody is thinking…

Why would God allow this to happen?

When people do bad things I get it. God created us with free will. And to truly have free will means he can’t intercede on every little thing we do. But this is different…
