This week, I'm continuing to explore the possibility that Mount Sinai, traditionally thought to be located in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, is actually in Saudi Arabia. I visited what seems to be the genuine site of the Rock of Horeb in Saudi Arabia's plains of Rephidim. This distinct, split granite rock matches the biblical description perfectly: God commanded Moses to strike it, and water gushed forth to quench the thirst of the Israelites.
